Im pretty stressed my career fair in next Friday and need my resume perfect. I feel behind I didn't apply to any internships last year under the assumption that the big 4/ smaller firms are looking for only juniors and up . Now I've heard that intern spots for PWC (in my area) are filled for the next 2 years and heard from some guest speakers t”

“• Add an objective line right under your name and contact info. •Instead of putting (CPA Eligible) behind your grad year, put it below your GPA line •Put a line of space between your sections (e.g., right under your GPA line press enter and make a line of space, so education section and work section aren’t bunched together)”

“Looking for advice and critique on my freshman resume. For context gpa is missing because I just started classes. Im also aware both bagger and busser are irrelevant but I have nothing else to replace the white space with. Both internships are also with the same company but different summers. I know skills are also week I’m just not sure what’s appropriate to put there. submitted by /u/Livid_Fill_9946 [link] [comments]”

“Summary is maybe too long. Improve the action words at the start of your bullet points. "Conducted" and "prepared" don't paint a picture where you went above and beyond”

“Hi, I’m looking to see how I can improve my CV for internships. I am a South African online student studying at UNISA doing BAccSci in financial accounting. My marks are good at a 78% average and that’s all I have. I would like to know what skills or certifications I can do to improve my outlook. More networking skills? Target firms? Just anything that would help. I keep thinking that it’s my school that doesn’t help out much too. I have seen banks and firms do events but always wonder how I can”

“Make sure to add Excel to your skills, that's a big deal and selling point given what you were doing in your first internship. Would also expand it with experience in advanced Excel skills like PowerQuery or Access if you've used those. Otherwise I'd bring you in for an interview. Being bilingual in Spanish would be exceptionally useful with our offshore staff being from the Philippines.”

“Looks pretty good for a junior in college resume. Here are some things I noticed that I feel help my resume stand out. Spacing is first thing I noticed. Second, under education add the date that you will be able to sit for the exams or will have the required credits to graduate. Typically 120 or 150 depending on the route you are taking. Third, add some more bullet points to your work experience to fil”
