“I applied on August 22, 2025, received interview notification on September 29, 2026. Interview scheduled for November 3, 2026. From what I read so far pointing me to study the old 100 questions test and not the 128 (2025 version). Is this correct?”

“I work with many adults preparing for the citizenship exam. One of the big questions that keeps coming up is “has anyone who applied after October 20,2025 done an interview with the new set of questions?” If you applied after October 20 of last year and have had your interview, could you please share a bit of your experience so I can help my students have a realistic idea of what to expect? Thanks so much! submitted by /u/hikingNstitches [link] [comments]”

“Good morning beautiful people! I know people are waiting way longer than me. I understand everybody’s frustration. My husband (US citizen) and I had our interview on the 14th of September. We have been married for over 5 years. Our interview went really good. The officer was super nice and basically approved us on the spot. He said “you don’t have nothing to worry about, the supervisor just has to sign off” not even 24h later our i130 got approved, still waiting on our i1485, sadly it stills say”

“Hi, I am a full-time college student who filed the N-400 form for citizenship/naturalization in August. I just had my biometrics done today and found out about the three-month state/district residence requirement. In early August, I moved from New York City to Albany for college and filed the form using my school address as my primary address. Would that affect my naturalization process since nyc and albany are not falling under the same district? Would I get denied for this? submitted by”

Who can be about any age and have full work authorization. I mean you cant really predict it but if it does get removed, then that basically deems the EAD useless to anyone except the H1b holder of the family. This is fucking stupid because the US is trying to raise standards and filter people out so only gifted, accomplished, or high income peopl”

“U.S. citizen is petitioning for his wife and his 8-year-old stepson. Both entered legally with B1/B2 visas, and both I-485 applications will be mailed together. Is the I-485 fee for the 8-year-old $950 because he is under 14 and filing with his mother, even though his U.S. citizen stepfather is filing a separate I-130 for him? Or is the fee $1,440? submitted by /u/Doceguer [link] [comments]”

“Hello all, I was approved for DCF in London for my wife and stepdaughter. They had their interviews on July 2nd and further evidence was requested. That was sent on August 7th. We have had no further communication and am assuming this is because of the current pause. Has anyone dealing with London had any updates recently? submitted by /u/TheUKyank [link] [comments]”
