“Well I think they would figure that out when they flush it and water seeps out haha. This sounds like a trap problem”
“I’m not sure if someone has commented this yet but you can wash your clothes in your bathtub/sink. Make sure you ring the hell out of them to get as much water out as you can and hang them to dry, preferably with a fan on them so they don’t get musty. [re: When does it get…”

“the fix is to run a drain machine from the lavatory drain. stop using chemicals it creates hazards you will not like. get a machine with the small cable to go through the lavatory arm and hope it does not turn up the vent. you could go down the tub overflow but the likelihood of creating a leak on the tub drain is high. the clog should only be about 8 feet down. do not hit it hard with the cable to make the cable twist up inside the pipe. when you reach the clog 'chew' on it slowly then”
“You received more suggestions than I chose to read so maybe someone already said what I’m going to suggest. Pump your septic system!! if you know it’s time to be pumped out, pump it out. Even if it’s not the cause of the smell it still has to be pumped. We have an on-lot system that causes issues every so often. You might kill 2 birds with one stone and be pleasantly surprised if the smell goes away after you’ve had the system pumped. It’s called maintenance.”

“You are going to be very happy when you finally get it out. I had the opposite last week in a long run in a shower drain. I couldn’t get the snake past what was about the 3rd turn. I kept going back and forth and it finally made it through. Getting it out was a series of back and forth moves until the snake got in the right position to exit.”
“The toilet was a bit old so I did give it a good scrub. Seemed it was a combo of toilet paper and calcium buildup. I cleaned all the toilet jets along the sides. Thanks to this reddit, yourself foe the tips.”
“Toss your cell phone down there (face down), wait 6-8 hours. Should be good by morning.”
“I did. I took it all apart 😭 I’m soaked and smell to the high heavens and it still doesn’t drain”
“I’ve already dismantled the pipes underneath. I’ve just put them back together. It’ll be further along”
