“my baby is nine weeks and we have been breast-feeding with My Brest friend pillow. I basically sit on my bed or on the couch, Indian style and lean a little forward to feed. I hate that I can’t lean back and get comfortable, but when I do try to do that and just hold him, he…”
“Hello Moms! I stopped breastfeeding 1 month ago and I still can’t get into my old bras. I hate wearing my granny breastfeeding bras, just can’t wait to go back to wearing my old bras. How long did it take for you go fit into your old bras?”
“I guess more specifically, after breastfeeding. I've never liked my boobs, would have rather been totally flat chested but they were in the b-c range. They feel so big now, they have gotten so big in the first 9w of pregnancy and i hate them and hate how they make me look and…”
Many breastfeeding mothers notice significant changes in their breasts, including volume loss and sagging. They seek bra recommendations to regain a more familiar shape and comfort during and after nursing.

“I’m a first-time mom and will be delivering sometime within the next 5 weeks. I’ve always had really large breasts but they have exploded during this pregnancy. Pre-pregnancy, I was a 36H (US sizing) and I am now barely fitting in my 36M (US sizing)…”
“Suddenly my boobs are uneven 14mo into EBF my son. What’s the deal?! He’s a good eater but still boob obsessed, nursing 5-6x/day. Since he was a few weeks old he’s nursed one boob per session…sometimes I forget which side is ‘up’ but I never had any issues with uneven boobs. Until now! What gives? Can one boob just suddenly go lazy? I’m trying to nurse the small/lazy side more to try to get things evened out, but that means accepting even more prominent unevenness since the other side is so full”
“Seeking recommendations for sports bras that are supportive/comfy for a breastfeeding runner. Please lmk if you’ve tried anything you particularly like for high impact stuff! I’m about a D cup currently, maybe a little bigger if I haven’t expressed milk in a while. submitted by /u/quesonques [link] [comments]”
“Just finished up a year of breastfeeding, and none of my regular bras fit anymore, alas! How long did it take for your boobs to sort of stabilize size-wise once you were done breastfeeding? Trying to figure out when I can go to the store and buy some more. submitted by /u/floofsnfluffiness [link] [comments]”
“hi!!! i am a FTM with an 8wk old and i feel like i have ordered 700 different nursing bras and nothing i have is working!! it’s either zero support and im falling out the bottom/boobs around my waist lol or more support but im spilling out of the top. for reference i am a 36 H-I and probably bigger when full. if anyone can help i would be so grateful!!! 💛 submitted by /u/carlybaker010 [link] [comments]”
“They’re soft and squishy, huge and smothering us both and I never had big boobs so I’m just at a loss. Side lying works only sometimes? Usually my nipple goes into mattress and leaning back a bit doesn’t help. A cloth under makes the angle worse. Reclining back barely works too, these nursing pillows are a joke and too soft we both just slide everywhere. I don’t get how people do this! Right now I barely got her to latch side lying but my fingers about to fall off from holding up my boob so she”
“So bub is nearly 7 months I started feeding her lying down since month 3? Over time the left aide of my body has developed sever pain I tend to feed from both breasts from right side since thats my dominant side and its easier manouvering things But this has given me sciatica like pain I have severe lower back and pain in my knee It is so bad that i detest feeding her anymore She’s a chonky baby and its anyway very hard to lift her all the time for me so i avoid feeding sitting down becus then w”

I hate that I can’t lean back and get comfortable, but when I do try to do that and just hold him, he doesn’t latch well.. pops on and off often, and I feel like he doesn’t get a full feed because he’s hungry an hour later whenever I try. So, I travel with my pillow and feed him in the car which is unnecessary but we struggl”

“I've always had a pretty small bust (34B), and it only went up like a half cup size during pregnancy, but once my milk came in, they ballooned up a lot. I got some stretch marks on the bottoms even from how fast it happened (and no stretch marks on my stomach from pregnancy, go figure). For anyone who had a similar experience, do they go back to the size they were before pregnancy? What about my areolas which are also way bigger? submitted by /u/x_Caffeine_Kitten_x [link] [”

They feel so big now, they have gotten so big in the first 9w of pregnancy and i hate them and hate how they make me look and idek what cup size they are right now because i have nursing bras on. Anyway, will they go back to normal sized after I've given birth, during or after breast feeding? submitted by /u/romano_cheez [link]”
“I need help! Before pregnancy I was a 32EE. I’m 33 weeks and now a 34I. I assume I will grow a little more. I am STRUGGLING to find nursing or pumping bras. I know they’re not going to have the same level of support as a regular bra, but each one I’ve tried has been terrible. Either my boobs burst out of the cup from the top or the band is so loose that I might as well just have nipple covers on. Does anyone have suggestions for postpartum bras that work for small band/large cup sizes? Tbh I wil”
“I saw a few recommendations to wait until the baby is born to order nursing bras since the girls will grow. My question is, are they going to grow that much? Would an easy option just be to size up? If I normally wear a medium, would it make sense to get that or a large? submitted by /u/Wonderful_Shoe1582 [link] [comments]”
“LO is 7 weeks and she’s long! Add into the mix the fact that I have VERY small hands, clinically weak muscles, and very large full breasts that hang low and point outwards, finding any comfortable position has been a real challenge. After fixing her tongue tie, we’ve been using a hippychick pillow to do a relaxed cross cradle where I can take my cross hands away entirely and have just one hand holding the boob. Now she’s too big for that pillow, and going without it doing a cross cradle out and”
“Hi guys, not much context to share but my baby is about 3 months and is big enough to sit across my lap while feeding in a modified cradle hold so we don’t use a nursing pillow. This is his favorite position but I have to put one arm under his head to elevate it to breast level and use the other to life the boob up as my nipples naturally droop down. Any suggestions for ways to prop my boob up so all I have to do is rest his head on my arm? My breasts are pretty large so the towel trick tends to”
“I've been exclusively breastfeeding my little one for about 6.5 months. 2 of those months I spent bracing myself at every latch before my nipples stopped being so sensitive. Well, over the last few days the little guy popped two jaggy bottom teeth. It's not painful and certainly nowhere near what it was starting out but uncomfortable. Do the nipples readjust when the baby gets teeth? My mantra at the start of it all was "the nipples get tough" from four christmases and I'm”
“I recently finished breastfeeding my last baby. I breastfed for just shy of 5 years. I think I expected to be disappointed with my boobs after weaning. But I love them. Sure, they are not the same, and finding the right bra is tricky with tissue loss. But they did great work and still do great work in the ways that matter. If you are worried about your boobs post-breastfeeding, there's a chance you just might like them! submitted by /u/Here_for_plants [link] [comments]”
“My daughter (3mo) has developed a habit of nursing to calm herself down. According to my partner, she doesn't really drink (so no hunger/thirst), but just uses the boobs as a sort of pacifier. In those phases, she's pretty much unconsolable when she's in my arms. The best I can do is gently rock her to sleep, but she's usually awake again in less than 5 minutes, notices I'm the boobless parent, and tells me in her loving way that that's not OK. Short of growing breasts my”
“Hi! I am a FTM and have a 4 week old baby, I am an F cup at the moment and had a few occasions already where I leaked through quite a lot during sleep. On the first time I had a leak, I was wearing the reusable breast pads from Lansinoh, however the problem is I like to sleep on my sides and tend to toss around in bed quite a bit; so naturally my nipples tend to shift around in the mean time. Now I currently use 4 pads at a time to make sure most of the bra area is covered , however I find it a”
“Hi all! My baby just turned 8 weeks so I decided to go back to my gym as I was cleared for physical activity at my appt last week. Planning on easing into it with light weight lifting and walking. Looking for good sports bra and pumping bra suggestions for larger chests. I would say I am around a 38 double D bra size when I am not pregnant or breastfeeding. Thanks everyone! submitted by /u/gsmetty [link] [comments]”
“I'm struggling to breastfeed out in public without my boppy. I need both hands to nurse my baby. I'm struggling to see how this is possible in public Any advice? submitted by /u/Minute-Tradition-737 [link] [comments]”
“hey guys! my baby is 3 months old and f fed. I’ve been feeding him in the side lying position on my lap, like his feet are at my belly and his head at my knees, with paced feeding since he was a newborn. this has been great for me as sometimes I get weird shoulder soreness or wrist pain from holding him- I have hyper mobile Eds so I always have to be careful of positioning to not strain random muscles. any way! he’s getting way too big for this, he’s super long so barely fits on my lap this way”
“Hi! Does anyone have recommendations for actually supportive nursing bras for larger busts? I’m 33 weeks pregnant and grown to a 34I or 34J and they are heavy. I can only imagine what will happen when breastfeeding. The typical stretchy cheap nursing bras ain’t cutting it. I bought a few from Kindred Bravely, and they’re even too stretchy to actually pull up and support my bust. Thanks! submitted by /u/Pitiful-Discipline87 [link] [comments]”
“My baby is 5 months old and in the beginning we did the football position only ( mainly because that’s what the hospital nurses really pushed ) it was great in the beginning for that position but as she got bigger we switched to side lying and it got to the point she would only nurse in side lying position. Now we can do on a nursing pillow kind of like cross cradle. I’ve been trying to do cross cradle but a little more lifted without the pillow to be able to nurse her when out in public but we”
“I always heard about how much breastfeeding changed your boobs but WOW I am humbled :) my once perky full volume boobs seem to have turned into half full sagging things. I’m noticing like an emptiness at the top of them if that makes sense? I guess volume loss? Any suggestions on a bra that will make me feel like I have my old boobs back? Lol. Bonus points for comfort. submitted by /u/PsychologicalBoot636 [link] [comments]”
