Users are upset that CapCut now requires paid subscriptions to export edited videos, which was previously free. They feel the app has become 'money hungry' and express unwillingness to pay the subscription fee.

This app is nothing but a chip off the money hungry no good platforms block.”

“[CapCut] ★★★ 3/5 (v19.7.0) — There is a “bug” that hasn’t been fixed for years where, upon exporting, it tells you you are using a Pro feature and to pay up before you can export- even if you are not using any Pro features. Other users have even tried deleting every single feature in the project and the message still comes up when exporting. It seems likely they aren’t fixing this because it’s making them money. It’s a shame, because it’s a robust video editing app, but this is scummy.”
