“As I mentioned in the first part (in the previous post), MOW is an arcade game that shows you the traffic signs you'll find on the road, and since it's a 2D game with a top-down view, we had the problem of how to show the player the upcoming signs with enough time to react. We…”

“I used to play this game in school with pen and paper. You draw planes on a 10x10 grod and announce a squares that you want to hit. The game ends when the"head"/propeller of the plane is hit. I used some AI for the backgrounds and voice https://battleplanes.itch.io/battle-planes”
Multiple developers are actively soliciting feedback and ideas from the community regarding their games, including combat systems, player retention strategies, and overall design concepts. This indicates a desire for iterative improvement based on user input.

“What feature would you like to see? As there is currently no movement randomization this wouldn't have much of a need yet, but I feel theres enough things in the game that would be nice to be expected by logic but at the same time…”
“Hello, After last 2 trailers I posted (for my beta game, not yet on Steam), I received a lot of feedback, rough one, but very helpful. After feedback I improved characters bodies texture, but most important, now enemies really fight back, and react. Maybe is still not so visible in trailer, because of movies selection, but in game is really difficult not to get hit... Opinions please! Thank you! submitted by /u/Illustrious-Lynx3673 [link] [comments]”
“Hi, I had an idea for a Sudoku PvP game, and that led me to Minesweeper PvP. I thought that was pretty cool. But then I saw "Needle in a Haystack" and all those collecting games, and I implemented elements of those games into Minesweeper. The result is a world ranging in size from 250x250 to 1000x1000 (trust me, dont even try playing the 1000x1000). All the bombs are sold at the base, there’s a bit of PvE built in, and with upgrades, you can gradually speed up the whole process and par”

“Hey everyone! I'm planning to build a free browser-based multiplayer game, but instead of jumping straight into development with a random idea, I figured I'd ask the people who would actually play it. I'm curious about what kind of multiplayer games people genuinely enjoy or wish existed. It could be anything: A casual board game to play with friends A competitive strategy game A chaotic party game A social deduction or bluffing game Something completely new that hasn't been done”

“Still at the concept stage, and I’m considering a PC/Steam version. What character would you pick first? And would you prefer direct control during battles, or launching your top and watching the physics play out? submitted by /u/OddWerewolf9331 [link] [comments]”

“I'm making a Suika Game clone. I've already implemented the mechanics for dropping the balls, merging them, the game-over condition, and the random selection of one of two balls for the drop. Now I need to create a window that shows which ball will drop next—could you help me figure out how to implement that? submitted by /u/VanSvi [link] [comments]”
“Hello everyone I have an idea for a VR game that I’d love to bring to life: Chess! But not just any regular chess. Over the weekend, I played on one of those oversized chessboards in a park, where the pieces are about half your height. Later that evening, I rewatched Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. That's when the following idea hit me: The game revolves around chess, but with a few twists: Standard capturing with hitpoints: Pieces are captured in the traditional chess way, but e”
“Currently we are running pvp mode only (1v1/2v2) and we are considering making a zombies mode (taking inspiration from bo1/2&3) but I don't know how will that work for a 2d game. If you guys have any references or ideas that can help that would mean alot!! submitted by /u/_Bl9_ [link] [comments]”
“Nobody made a proper fighting simulator between robots, so ima do it myself First gameplay preview of Metal Pounder 3-meter, 700 kg robots. You throw every punch with your mouse, there are real physics, armor that dents and tears off. Here is a link to my discord: https://discord.gg/XekMAfyxA Wanted to ask people to send their drawings of robots, need some inspiration:) Also any cool ideas/mechanics you would have wanted to see in a game like this? submitted by /u/InnerWedding3718 [l”
“Hello, I am a student studying software engineering and I need to write my bachelor's thesis on the topic: "Video game centered on a parry mechanic with a level editor and player content sharing". “Hi all , I am a developer, making free online/wifi/lan lightweight chess game for Windows, (not for mobile yet) all basic online and play vs computer features are ready, just need to see how game handles itself online, on LAN and if computer opponent is strong enough to play vs human. Velikopolsky Chess is in English and Ukrainian UI localized, lightweight download (150Mb). It carries strong folk style, and chess pieces talk a lot when attacking or getting killed! ( sounds are in Ukrainian so fa”
“I'm legitimately thinking of just making a game about a jumping cube that jumps in place. Probably going to look into making it a soft body so that it may have a little jiggle or give, make it a little interesting. Might make it an incremental game, start off jumping really low, build up either through jumping enough times to unlock a skill kind of like a roguelike, or earn coins per jump, spend the coins on strength upgrades or something. I don't know. The success of that jump rope game”
“Hi there, I'm planning to launch the game Prison Breaker on Steam around November. It's mainly a puzzle game where you have to memorize the obstacle patterns in order to survive, but that's not all! You dodge the obstacles and smash the prison wall (this refers to the huge blue ring by the way) into pieces like in an action game. I would say the gameplay style is quite eccentric and unforgiving! Steam Demo: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4295830/Prison_Breaker \ This game is made”

“Hey thanks for trying it! Clicking the logo in the header will take you to homepage/lobby. I'll try to figure out how to make that more clear. I need to include the new dirty tricks in the tutorial. You can now fight in the clinch, 25% chance your clinch punches are foul (headbutt & low blow), 3 fouls and you are disqualified. Fight dirty, but be careful about it!”
“Hello everyone! I'd like to introduce you to Silent Strike, the game me and my small remote team have been working on. It's a competitive 1v1 tactical shooter for PC and PC VR, with a big focus on loadout customization freedom, and Elo based ranked progression and matchmaking. The video I've attached to this post is showing a little bit of weapon and character customization. The Steam page just went live the other day and the trailer on the steam page is our very first trailer. We al”
“Love the idea. Good mix of online and real world. We need more 'fun' things like this in the world these days. Could be cool to allow people to licence the setup and build one in their side of the world too.”
“Hi everyone. A few days ago, I came up with an idea for a multiplayer shooter game. What do you think — would it be possible to develop it with a team of 4–5 people? What kind of costs should we expect? We’re thinking about using Unity and keeping the graphics and gameplay mechanics relatively basic. In your opinion, how long could development take if everyone worked on it part-time, alongside their regular jobs? submitted by /u/Longjumping_Pen_5750 [link] [comments]”

“Ive been building a rally look a like strategy game, and so far so I've received 7/10 reviews. The idea that I struggle with is modeling behaviour of CPU. I've got quite a unconvential way of driving the car. But you compete with others. So far I am toying with a Catmull-Rom spline, and let that at corners (entry in/exit out), exponentially increase. But let's say a straight, do a fixed 5% faster pace - linked to the ability of the car. It works very well, for roads/rally tracks with”
“I'm very new to this. I have a game idea that I think it would be fun to play so I want to try. I have 2 questions for now. Which game engine do you guys recommend for an auto chess game? I want to make it look similar to TFT. I only have an iMac but I want to make the game for steam/windows pc. Can I develop the game on an iMac? Thank you in advance! submitted by /u/Designer_Syrup2 [link] [comments]”
“Hey devs! What do you guys think, nowadays, for a skill-based arcade game, is it worth giving players a way to compete on an online leaderboard? And show all the numbers and stats from their game? Let me explain a bit better... I'm working on Spacejunk, a space arcade shooter where player skill really matters—it’s a tough game by design. Players have main missions to complete, and at the end, they get a score from 0 to 1000 for their performance. But this score isn’t their ranking on the onl”
“Hi everyone, lately I've been thinking about how to achieve good balancing for my game, to make it fun and not frustrating. The game involves buying upgrades to power up a ship, and during missions you earn credits to spend on those upgrades. Each upgrade has 3 levels. The game is meant to be difficult and challenging, so I thought: if an average player is decent, the credits they earn will only let them buy upgrades up to level 2, while a very skilled player will earn credit bonuses that le”

“Hey everyone! We just captured fresh video of our latest dev build in action and wanted to share a preview. We’ve been focusing heavily on tuning combat responsiveness, stat customization, and making sure the arena brawling feels tight with zero pay-to-win elements. Beyond game updates, we’re trying to build a fun community around the project launch. Our Discord isn't just an announcements feed—it's a relaxed space where you can jump into general chat, talk about mech design, share feedb”

You pick or type any topic and the questions get generated for it, and the ones you get wrong come back later so you actually get better at the subject instead of just scrolling. iOS, Android and a Chrome extension. “Hi, i've been trying to add some grappling hook mechanics along with a wall run feature. I'm looking for feedback, the idea behind the game are big arenas with multiple levels, so verticality and movement is key to escape from enemies and take new angles, is still a little clunky but pretty proud of the outcome so far. The game is called NullGate and the Steam page is live in case anyone wants to take a look. submitted by /u/Snoo-29395 [link] [comments]”

“Hello! I would like to ask for your feedback on the combat improvements I'm currently doing to polish the game feel. I've adjusted the feedback player gets when hit by enemies: - increased the visibility of hit with stronger camera shake, - added damage input over player head to inform about the damage, - added brief flash on the healthbar, On the video you can see old and new implementation - does it feel better in your opinion? Any ideas on how to make it even better? Any input would b”

“Hi Guys, I am building a game. A Detective type game, I love thriller, crime movies so I thought why not make it as a game. So my whole idea is to make a game feel like a movie. So I am creating a game where the main player have to find physical evidence and interrogate suspects ( NPC ) through LLM. Each suspects will be given a character through LLM Prompt, so during interrogation you will be talking to the suspect, meaning free text. You must ask the correct questions based on the physical evi”

“Hey everyone, Over the past few months, I’ve been working on a lightweight logic puzzle game called Ball Jodo. If you enjoy games like Flow Free or number-path puzzles, the premise is simple: connect numbered balls in order (1 → 2 → 3...) while covering every single square on the board. As a solo dev, it’s hard to see the blind spots once you’ve played your own puzzles dozens of times. I’m looking for genuine, honest feedback to help take the game to the next level. Specific areas I’d love your”

“Many questions: 1. What is the improvement here ? I remember the game with same graphics. 2. Why this could not have been a web app, it is simple enough, people who want to just try it are not going to donwload an app, plus you get laptop users as well with a web app. 3. Does this version has code to join your game to play online with your friend? It will be a good addition 4. Does this support more than 2 players ? I think this game as a concept is not really bounded by fixed number of players”
“Hey everyone! It's been almost two months since I published my fighting game, and the first big update is finally live. Here's what I added: New Moves: The punch is no longer lonely! You can now kick and crouch, which prevents you from moving, but combined with a kick, can sweep the opponent to the floor. Sounds: Besides the moves, the game now has sound effects for everything. You can now hear the fighters struggling, creating a more immersive experience. Timers and Draws: A timer has b”

“Hey everyone, I’m working on a multiplayer game called Goffy Clash and I’m currently experimenting with a pretty unusual mechanic. I’d love to get some honest feedback from other developers. A little about Goffy Clash it's a 12-player multiplayer party brawler where players fight each other using grabbing, throwing, dashing, weapons, and different map hazards. We are trying to keep the gameplay simple but something that give players enough tools to create those "WHAT JUST HAPPENED?"”
