“My 8 year old beagle has lymphoma (diagnosed maybe 4 weeks ago) and we decided to not treat it for various reasons. Following the diagnosis he continued to vomit and lose weight, and then not eat, until he was pretty much dying from being so weak, the original vets didn’t give me anything for this. Until I saw him like this I was going to try and treat the cancer, but made the decision with the mobile vet to give him a little longer if he did improve with steroids before putting him to sleep kin”

“Back in May my sister’s dog got diagnosed with lymphoma. He got super skinny and had no appetite but other than that you’d never know. Ever since then he’s been on prednisone and it’s helped a lot. He’s gained the weight back, lymph nodes shrunk, and seemed overall better. If we never took him to the vet you’d never know he was sick. All he wants to do 24/7 is play fetch. The second he sees that ball get thrown he’ll sprint and do crazy jumps. My sister doesn’t want to do any type of chemo becau”
“I have an 8 year old rottie who was recently diagnosed with large grade t-cell GI lymphoma. I was gone on vacation and when I came home that night he puked all night and wouldn’t eat anything. Took him in the next morning and he had a large mass in his small intestine that perforated and he was septic. We opted for surgery and they found two more masses. One kinda large one and one very very small one. They took the second large mass but left the third and stitched his intestine back together. T”
“My dog, Murphie (9 years, F) had enlarged left neck lymph node and very puffy eyes with discharge. We saw her vet and they placed her on a prednisone taper for 7 days. She improved some but on day 5 regressed significantly. Subsequently, we took back in and they put her on a high prednisone 10 day taper and 7 day BID clindamycin antibiotic. She improved significantly but she has been without prednisone for 3 days now and her bilateral neck nodes are massive and her eyes have become puffy again.”
“My dog has gastric lymphoma, Large Cell/T cell in origin. It was found in his stomach lining and in fluid in his abdomen. He started a LOPP protocol in June, but hasn't had the LPP since the end of July as his white cells /neutrophils have been low. He had vincristine in the middle of August when the vet said he was borderline. But nothing since. Last blood test was last wednesday. The vet mentioned potential bone marrow fatigue last week, and he is going back for another blood test tomorrow”
“My 12.5 yo Boykin spaniel has been having GI issues for about 7-8 weeks. Alternating diarrhea/soft/normal stools a few times a day. He has been taking a vet prescribed probiotic and eats a raw diet. He takes pain meds for hip dysplasia and arthritis. Today I noticed this (bloody mucus) in his stool, and I am wondering if it is related to his anal glands or actually more GI issues. submitted by /u/Foster921 [link] [comments]”
“Hey guys, My wee rescue gal has been on prednisolone for almost three weeks now - her specialists currently have a working diagnosis of small-cell gastrointestinal lymphoma at its earliest stage, but there remains a genuine diagnostic grey area with severe inflammatory enteropathy/IBD. She has had various violent vomiting episodes over the last seven months, which what has led to this diagnosis, thanks to endoscopes. Her last episode was 8th August and we've had no vomiting since. I am conce”
“Info: canine, 9 months old, male, not neutered, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, 10-13 lbs roughly, Pittsburgh area Thursday 9/20 my partner gave my dog a bad treat at night and the next day we woke up to diarrhea in his kennel. This has persisted for the last week now. We immediately put him on a bland chicken and rice diet and 3 days ago we started him on the Proviable capsules and paste to hopefully help but it doesn’t seem to be stopping the diarrhea. I’ve waited it out this long because 1-2 m”
