“Is this happening to anyone else? First three screen shots are from Wednesday, I took 9 orders all with a base pay of $2.80. None of them were the same distance, all varying from 2 miles to 10. Today, Thursday, I took three orders, and realized all had a base pay of $3.90. One…”
“11 miles $2 dollar tip, it was a bundled order for $20 that’s the only reason I took it”
“even customer orders 300$ still gonna see this percentage. In my area customers mostly don’t care and think this is how much we deserve because this amount is shown on the app.”
Several DoorDash drivers report a significant decrease in order payouts following the implementation of a new 'point system.' They are now receiving very low base pay, as little as $2 for deliveries that previously offered higher compensation. This change has led to frustration and concerns about earning potential.

Today, Thursday, I took three orders, and realized all had a base pay of $3.90. One was 5 miles and the other two were actually a double order, crumbl was 7 miles away from me, the Indian restaurant was 2.5 more miles further than that. I have contacted support about this because I think it’s weird. Wedne”

“Shameless. Can’t see what order belongs to which customer. If the 1 item for $3 going 6 miles and the 20 items for 2 miles knowing the further 1 item is probably a non tipper you can’t unassign it. Lmao submitted by /u/KeeperTV [link] [comments]”
“Most people have, no one is denying money can be made. But $2 an hour without tips is a joke.”

“I accepted 2 orders stacked together…$24 for 10 miles. Both wanted 1 item from Kohls. Kohls did not have the 1 item for one of the customers (they wanted the original Monopoly game board). So obviously i checked in with the customer, and they did not want any substitutions, so I issued a refund & got 6.75 Took the other POS customers 1 item 8 miles. Total for their delivery was $3. So, i got $9.75 & drove 10 miles. Absolute BS. And of course, the non-tipper wanted an article of womans cl”

“We went to the point system a few days ago. I do not like it at all. Our basepay has been destroyed. Now I know exactly what everyone is talking about when they complain about these $2 orders. I have never seen this here. Normally, a trash offer was $3.15 basepay. Even a small tip would still get you $2 a mile. Most of our orders are only going 2 to 4 miles unless going out of zone but still get offers coming back. I did not have to decline much before the update. Now it's awful. Shopping he”
