“I made this 940 argentium silver hammered ring and after a while of wearing it I noticed it had these persistent blotches in the hammered facets that i cannot for the life of me get rid of. I ruled out firescale and im not sure if it's tarnish either. “Hi! I won this through an ebay auction (It was only $10.50). The listing said Sterling 925 Gold Vermeil, when I got it in the color looked kind of copper so I polished it with a polishing cloth and silver cream. The color still looks coppery.
