“Hi everyone, just need some advice or comfort. I finished my 20 week ultrasound yesterday (had to go back a second time because they couldn’t get all the measurements). My midwife left a voicemail at around 1:50pm today with a simple “calling about your ultrasound, will try to…”
“Hi All, My wife and I had ultrasound yesterday and we were measured at 6w 4d and 6w 2d? The CRL was 7.3mm and unfortunately no heartbeat was detected. We read the guidelines and understand this is typically diagnostic of a non-viable pregnancy. They want us to come back in 10…”
“I went to dr on Tuesday and had a little scare when they couldn't find heartbeat with the doppler. They did an ultrasound and she was head down but kind of curled up (I still have no clue, this is what dr said). I still mainly feel movements at the bottom of my stomach. Wouldn't…”
Several expectant mothers express concern after ultrasounds fail to detect a fetal heartbeat or movement. They report being told the baby may not be alive and are awaiting further testing, like bloodwork and anatomy scans, causing significant emotional distress.

They did an ultrasound and she was head down but kind of curled up (I still have no clue, this is what dr said). I still mainly feel movements at the bottom of my stomach. Wouldn't it make more sense to feel it on the sides/top? I guess I really don't know what exactly I am feeling or if this makes any sense. I am 30+2 now so I recognize patterns of movement, I just kind of wish I knew”
“I am currently 6 weeks pregnant and my first appointment/ ultrasound is not for another 3 weeks. I have taken so many test that all come back positive, but I feel like I am experiencing very little symptoms. My breast hurt, I have acid reflux, and I am extremely tired. Even with all of this it doesn’t feel real. Me and my partner are very excited for this baby, but I worry I could lose it at anytime and not notice. I have a desire to take a test all the time, but I don’t think it is healthy for”
“TW: miscarriages Hi everyone, Tomorrow I’m 15 weeks pregnant. My last ultrasound was at 12w6d and everything was fine. However I’m growing anxious as I haven’t seen the baby or heard the heartbeat in some time, and because I have had two miscarriages in the past (I have no LC). This morning my mom called me to ask how I was doing. I told her i was feeling fine but a little bit stressed, because of my past. She then told me something in the line from “yeah now that you have seen the heart and all”
“Today I’m having my 7-week scan. I’m officially 7 weeks pregnant today, and this will be my first scan. I’m very nervous because I had a previous miscarriage at 7 weeks. At that time, my baby never developed a heartbeat and was measuring only 6 weeks and 1 day. Because of that loss, I’m extremely afraid of my first scan this time. In this pregnancy, my symptoms have been very mild—just mild breast tenderness that comes and goes and some fatigue. I don’t have any nausea or vomiting. In my previou”

My midwife left a voicemail at around 1:50pm today with a simple “calling about your ultrasound, will try to call again later”. At my last appointment they had told me they only call if there’s an issue, and that no news is good news, so I’m freaking out. It’s now been four hours, I left a message at the non-emergency line but wo”
“I’m scheduled for my first appointment and ultrasound next week. I’ll be 6 weeks pregnant days. I did OPK and bbt so I’m certain about the conception date. I’ve read that some people don’t see heartbeats at 6 weeks. Should I reschedule to I avoid the potential stress of not seeing a heartbeat? Should I do it at 7 weeks instead? submitted by /u/Bubbly_Energy_830 [link] [comments]”
“hi! I’m currently 5w1d and have an appt with my OB scheduled for a week from today so I’ll be 6w1d. I had a prior chemical pregnancy so wanted to go in early but wondering if I’ll see a heartbeat? when did you first see your little ones heartbeat?! 💓 submitted by /u/puzzlinggirl-12 [link] [comments]”

“At first they used a small hand held machine which didn't detect movement or the heartbeat. Then they brought out another device and were able to find small movement and could see the heartbeat but not hear it. In between I was told the baby wasn't alive and I couldn't stop crying. They ordered blood work for spinal defect and anatomy scan ultrasound. I haven't stopped crying and don't remember anything else except that I should expect the results next week. Not sure what to”
