“The LVP in my kitchen has a few spots that have buckled and are slowly getting broken apart. I replaced a board already, but by cutting a tongue to replace it in place, it leaves it loose and it sticks up to where it’s breaking again. We’ve had some foundation movement (North TX…”

“I have LVP being installed in my office and living room this weekend and I am a little worried about the media cabinet I have in there. Its well over 200 pounds and is on 4 wheels. I feel like over time, its going to leave dents in the LVP. This cabinet doesn't move once in…”

“We have to replace our LVP in our kitchen due to a leak. I do not like how we have cherry floors and cabinets. I feel like the cherry on cherry is too much for my taste. We are using LVP again, and I have no idea how to break up the monotony of the cherry wood, while also tying…”

I feel like over time, its going to leave dents in the LVP. This cabinet doesn't move once in place unless there is an issue and I have to get to the back of it. I have been looking into putting something down on top of the LVP that this cabinet can sit on, such as Polycarbonate or Tempered Glass to prevent any ch”

“Hi - i’m looking to add stable flooring into my basement to buy a power rack. We have low pile carpet. I bought cheap foam tiles a while back and they’re so squishy and unstable. My concern is creating an environment for mold. We do run a dehumidifier in our utility room that is 40/50% depending on time of year, and i would only be looking to make a 8x12 or 10x12 area. My preference would be to not rip up carpet. would plywood over carpet be ok? my concern is trapping moisture that creates mold.”

“Frankly just want to toss it on top. Probably weighs couple hundred lbs though. People put under fridges and ovens and such. Main concern is buckling and separating during expansion. Room is kind of small though. About 50sq feet. Thoughts? submitted by /u/Relative-Category-64 [link] [comments]”

We are using LVP again, and I have no idea how to break up the monotony of the cherry wood, while also tying it in to match the tile throughout my dining, living and entry way. Eventually we will have to replace the tile too, but we just don't have the money to do that right now. The LVP flooring will have to be faux wood, a”

“I have about a 5 foot by four foot low spot. It’s in the subfloor. It was repaired (poorly)from a leaking water heater before we purchased the home. Water heater is fixed, the subfloor is solid but low. I have a rather high upwards buckle in the floor along or near one of the subfloor joists. I tried to take a picture of it but it’s tricky. You can see it with the naked eye. And when it’s walked on it will actually lift a small bookshelf that sits along the wall with the buckle running perpendic”

“Can anyone help me understand what could be the cause of this? It’s happening all over the house (this is just one spot) the entire living area and down the hallway but bedrooms are fine. Started a while back we did have a dishwasher leak that I ran fans over for about a week thought maybe that could be it… it started coming up in the kitchen first. Could this be an instal error or am I looking at something bigger like a possible leak in the foundation? I’ve talked to multiple people that have b”

“I want to replace the stick-down vinyl tiles in my utility room. What are the best options? I've only ever done LVP on my own. - Poured concrete base - Furnace, AC, Water Softener, Washer, Dryer all in utility room. I can move the washer and dryer, but the other appliances cannot be moved. submitted by /u/Daytona765 [link] [comments]”
