“Nearly all Chinese marketplace companies use WhatsApp. It’s not unusual. Annoying as hell, but not unusual”
“not sure this is the right place but I have some friends who may have jumped the gun without knowing what they were asking for they bought a chinese food trailer "CNREALLY" "ZZKNOWN" "Zhengzhou Really" it has a female plug shore power and the generator they have is also a female…”
“This 100%. I’ve been through similar with 2 businesses before (one truck, one cafe) and I just ignored it. I promoted both of them in separate posts in conjunction with some services my business offers without any expectation of it to mend whatever it is against me (I know what…”
Multiple users are questioning the authenticity of recent food trailer arrival announcements, believing they may be disguised advertisements for a Chinese equipment supplier. They question the source of images and express skepticism about the claims made in the posts.

“Wow the guy who cut corners and payed for it is posting a bunch of ai slop? Never seen that before [re: Qingdao Food Van Machinery Co., Ltd. Review – My $25,000 Alibaba Arcade Trailer Order Cost Me $44,114.80 | Buyer Beware]”
“If I see AI advertising, I assume you only serve robots. I won't shop with you.”
“Hahaha, this observation is a 10/10. The food truck with no sanitation and an owner who's telling us to ignore that type of stuff is a 0/10.”
Guessing you’re a shitty food truck that buys from them huh
Not when it’s about the building quality coming from Alibaba
“Not yet. My experience has so far been really good though, contrary to what a lot of people on here say. It depends though. A lot of issues, from my understanding, are to do with strict conformity laws in the USA which are not that bad in the UK, where I am. The supplier I am speaking to also has just got a CoC meaning I don’t need an IVA in the UK. Along with that, I spoke to a distributor in Norway who worked with these guys and said they’re reliable so I’ll take his word.”
“Do you mean posting food we make on our business page? I'm willing to try anything if it'll help lol.”

“> both international wire confirmations and the complete WhatsApp conversation *Hedley. I don't have much. But see my edits. This may be legit No legitimate business happens on WhatsApp, in my opinion. People here may have a different opinion but unless someone is conversing with relatives overseas WhatsApp is riddled with criminal activity. The shipping bait and switch is a thing. If they are legitimate (chances are they aren't) you can arrange it that you pay the shipping company be”

“Guessing this is fake / publicity. The web address on the building doesn’t exist.”
“Is it possible they’re dealing with extra trash or litter in front of their establishments when they arrive to open in the morning? I don’t agree and I don’t think they’re going about it the right way…just playing devils advocate.”
It is possible that some haven't considered such a situation at all.
Am I having a stroke or is this going over my head? Elaborate 😂
The best of winners always have an advertisement. Such a scam
“I have two trailers from Chinese factory, they look like old airstream trailer. The quality overall are stunning, BUT you should work with an agent based in China who can check the quality, specifications, and the different standards and regulations applicable in your country (in my case, European standards). Mine also took care of the shipping and unloading at the destination port, as well as all the various import duties and taxes. It’s better to pay €1,500 more and get the result you expect r”
“This 100%. I’ve been through similar with 2 businesses before (one truck, one cafe) and I just ignored it. I promoted both of them in separate posts in conjunction with some services my business offers without any expectation of it to mend whatever it is against me (I know what both the issues are, and it’s a them issue, not a me issue). When people ask, just compliment the business and talk about how proud you are to be around these businesses/in this community.”
“By the time you pay for it to be up to code you should have just bought one made locally”
“No I like when people buy the Alibaba trailer because then I get to have a chuckle on a hot day”
“I suggest that you review all previous Reddits on this topic. As you have read here: don’t go that way unless you wish to spend more money compared to buying one in your country!!!”
“Your going to pay more than 19k to get it shipped and fitted with the right equipment to get it licensed, your better off getting a used one locally. I have never seen anyone successfully buy one of those china builds and get it shipped and running and be able to show the maths that it was worth it. I'd love to see it but it just never actually works”
“You get what you pay for. Have fun. This subreddit is pretty anti alibaba trailer”
“There’s so many and we all already have the ones that work for us. Don’t waste your time”
“I bought the same one from China. See my post from last year Trailer From China - Update Here's the latest and last update . Mods - let me know if this is OK. Thanks all!”
“The tabletop fryer, the flattop, and the food warmer all look like they are commercial/nsf. The fryer brand is definitely from a commercial brand”
“There is no way in hell that thing would get permitted in my area. That thing is not built to last. The step alone is a huge no no. The cabinets can't handle moisture. Where is it located?”
“Oh you’re right. This one is an ad for craftsman. Should have flagged the post a few days ago for breaking rules! Thanks for pointing it out!”
“It doesn't look bad, but you should inspect every part of it: every wood, every door, everything, because if it's not in good condition, it's not worth that price. But it looks good, I would also recommend checking the prices of the equipment inside, maybe you're better off buying new ones.”
“This sure sounds like an ad for a Chinese company. If you are still trying to sort out equipment, where did these pictures come from? I call bs.”
“I can't find a baseline for a brand new state of the art food truck. Keep getting referred to usedfoodtrucks.com but those are old beat up 200k mile trucks. I had a truck custom built a few years back, planned on using it to highlight our brick and mortars at food festivals and to add a catering element. Covid hit and our focus shifted. Where is the spot to sell a "newish" food truck with all the bells and whistles? Revolving brick pizza oven with special weight chassis and constru”
