“I have plenty of Rose of Sharon plants. Good sun, water, but most buds do not bloom. Zone 6b. Any idea why not? Pics from today.”
“Old fashioned tulips bloom forever unless the bulbs get too crowded. This is probably the case with grandma's tulips. Dig them up, toss out the little ones and replant so the bulb tip is 4-6" deep or 15cm. The more room between bulbs, the less you'll have to dig up and divide…”
“There's a bunch of closed blooms, the last time it flowered was last week. Is it dying? Does it need fertilizer in order to push out more flowers? Im new to gardening so please be kind.”

I'd go with a minimum of 10cm apart. re: roses. Other trees and shrubs may have grown and put the roses in too much shade now. If this is true, moving them in autumn is OK. It's best to give them about”

“Hey y’all, My wife pointed out to me the other day that our lantana aren’t blooming and now I can’t unsee it. They’re getting about 8hrs of direct sunlight, is it too much though? Our lantana in the backyard is blooming but we’ve been watering more bc of some newer plants around them. Is it possible we’re not watering them enough? The leaves look a little fried maybe? I’m a novice at plant care so any advice would help. Location: Atl GA submitted by /u/regarding-earthlings [link] ”

“Hi, I recently got Lillie’s last Saturday but they still have not budged at all. None of them have bloomed, I cut them at an angle, fresh water, indirect sunlight but nothing. What else can I do? And is it normal for it to take this long? submitted by /u/Diisdona [link] [comments]”
“These were growing beautifully for weeks and just started blooming over the last 2 weeks, I initially started them indoors and planted outside. 4 plants started to wilt and die. I pulled them out, now another 3 or more seem to be going. Other healthy plants have yellowing leaves. I water every 3 days or so with hard water, or we get heavy rain about every 1-2 weeks. I've only fertilized once with fish fertilizer. Growing zone 5b.. it's been a hot humid summer. I grew these last year in t”

“Can you pinch this variety for more blooms? I planted some of these and their about to start blooming, would love for them to continually grow into the Fall.”
“I bought this geranium earlier this year. It is orangish-red and it bloomed really well until last month. Then suddenly it started shedding leaves, stopped blooming and leaves turned pale and overall health of plant deteriorated. The soil is not kept as soggy as shown here (this is because of rain last night). The plant was in semi-shade. Can anyone help how I can fix it? Thank you in anticipation. submitted by /u/VanillaFlavr [link] [comments]”

“Hello fellow garden lovers, I bought some peonies two years ago. They struggled last year, but since it was their first year, I wasn't really worried. This year, they were doing fine in the spring, but now they're not doing well at all. It's been very hot in my area this year, but I water them regularly. I don't see any animals/parasite around. Do you think it could be a disease? Or is it the heat? submitted by /u/AITAfangirl [link] [comments]”
“This tree was doing fine when we purchased the property at Lake Chapala in Mexico, four years ago. The blooms have declined over the past two or three years. I am concerned that we have done something to harm it or haven’t done something to help it. We would appreciate any and all recommendations. submitted by /u/jjprof99 [link] [comments]”
“This wall hanger thing of impatiens originally had plenty of blooms, but now they're almost non-existent. This is on a front patio, in full shade but bright light, and the foliage is fine ... but why doesn't it bloom now ? https://preview.redd.it/mzvrzn5owldh1.jpg?width=1512&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f47e435359ed362e1c75d310005e5f24d13ecbfd submitted by /u/nolanday64 [link] [comments]”
“So, this just started two days ago. These are Valley Rose fingerling potatoes that are starting to yellow (left half of bed). The right half of the bed has Adirondack Blues. Minnesota Zone 5a, we have been 95 F the past week. I have this little patch on a drip irrigation (along with the beds behind it). Since we hit the mid-90's I increased frequency of drip irrigation to 2X daily to keep the peppers and tomatoes from wilting. Is this the potential source of the yellowing (too much water)? A”
