“I'm 29 weeks and I have an anterior placenta, but it's quite high so I can usually feel her with no problem. But this week something changed, for 2 days her regular kicking was accompanied by severe round ligament pain and I felt like she…”
“I’m 6 weeks 4 days today and I’m so so worried something is wrong because I’ve had very minimal symptoms. I’ve been experiencing sore breasts, fatigue, and cramping but those all come and go. I honestly feel fine, I don’t even feel pregnant. What really worries me is that I‘ve had next to no nausea. I feel completely fine and not pregnant most of the time and I see so many pregnant women around me who seem so sick and so exhausted all the time. I’ve had a loss a couple of months ago, so I’m just”
“Last Sunday, I experienced real contractions for the first time. They were steady for 3 hours, 5 mins apart and a minute each. It looked like maybe it was the start of early labor, but they disappeared after we had a minor car accident. Yes, baby is fine, we did ultrasound. But after that they dissipated, becoming random and much weaker. And now here we are almost a week later and they’ve basically stopped. Last night in the shower I had a moment of hope as I was having contractions for 20/30 mi”
“Hi, i’m 11 weeks and 4 days and haven’t seen my baby since my dating scan at 8/9 weeks. I had some bad symptoms from 4-6.5 weeks and then they totally disappeared and i did have sore boobs but they also have seemed to disappear in the last week or so. I know people say symptoms have nothing to do with a healthy pregnancy but it just is making me nervous. I go to my NT scan on the 10th and then see my doctor again on the 16th and my brain is just constantly filled with the fact that i could get b”
“FTM here - I have a posterior placenta and first felt the fetus move at 15 weeks when she did a huge somersault. Now that I’m 29 weeks, she’s going bananas in there, kicking and flipping and jabbing all the time! It’s really startling and makes me nauseous sometimes. I’m totally over it, and I still have 2 months to go! Will this get better as space gets tighter?? Like occasionally it’s cute, but it’s also a LOT. (Especially when she decides to do cardio kickboxing at 2 am.😭) But then when she’”
“Hello, I’ve recently joined the unfortunate club of PPROM at 30 weeks. Though tomorrow I’ll be 31 weeks and still pregnant! I am bed bound at the hospital, and have been noticing that ever since my water broke, I do still perceive movement but it seems less frequent and less strong than it was prior to my water breaking. The ob team said that was normal, and that I need to reset my frame of reference to her movement patterns in this new environment where she likely has much less fluid floating a”
“I’m 23 weeks pregnant an already feeling so much pressure. Is it common and will it let up a little. It’s increased since last week and when I stand up there’s a lot of pressure too. I’m a FTM. submitted by /u/Spicekitty578 [link] [comments]”
“Hey everyone, this is my first post ever, so I’m sorry if there’s something wrong. I’m 15w6d (FTM) and I believe I felt her moving today. I was almost certain it was her but the 3 times I felt during different hours of the day, it was at the same spot. Does that happen or it‘s not the baby? thank you ☺️ submitted by /u/Stilish_Racoon_256 [link] [comments]”
“38 weeks, every time I push to have a bowel movement on the toilet it feels like my leg bones slip out of socket and start getting pushed away from my body? I don't know how else to describe it, it is very uncomfortable and I would say painful. Not injury painful, just a dull radiating pain that definitely makes me stop and catch my breath. I also occaisonally feel this same pain when I am walking and it doubles me over for a minute before it goes away. Does anyone have any input on this? Ha”
“I’m having a hard time shaking anxiety over this even though I keep reading that it’s either normal or not (everything is normal or tragic and it’s so hard to discern). Since I was about 14.5 weeks, every other day or so I’ll have basically a full day of mild period like cramps. They’re not extreme, they almost feel like what I would experience the day before/of my period starting pre-pregnancy. Everything has been healthy so far. I’m 15w3d today, and I have my 16 week appointment in 6 days, so”
“I’m currently pregnant with my second and will be 17 weeks on Thursday. I think I didn’t feel my first till around 21 weeks. I have heard you can notice your baby sooner in subsequent pregnancies, so just curious when some may have felt theirs submitted by /u/Elegant_Talk_15 [link] [comments]”
“I am 29 weeks, and the baby has excelent timing. He can be kicking hard enough to move my shirt, but as soon as my husband puts his hand on my stomach, complete silence. My husband patiently waits, whispers encouragement, changes position, nothing. The second he removes his hand, the kicking starts again. Last night this happened four times. My husband thinks the baby is deliberately messing with him, now our favorite joke. He has felt plenty of movement before, so nobody is worried. I am curiou”
“I'm a FTM and very quickly losing my mind over my very lazy baby who refuses to leave my cozy womb. I have had 3 membrane sweeps so far, and last appointment my doctor said I'm only 1cm dilated. I've had no contractions, don't even know if there have been Braxton Hicks, baby still feels quite high, I'm walking every day, tried dates and teas and bouncing, even tried pumping, and nothing. I know being late can be normal, but I'm struggling mentally and physically - so many”
“I am 29 weeks now, and this baby has developed a very specific comedy routine. I can be sitting quietly, minding my own business, and suddenly my stomach looks like someone is rearranging furniture in there. The second I call my partner over, complete silence. He comes over so carefully, puts one hand on my belly, and the baby becomes a statue. We wait. Nothing. He gives up, walks away, and within thirty seconds the kicks start again like a tiny drum solo. This has happened so many times that he”
“I am currently 21w4d and am not sure if I should start to worry. Our last MFM appointment was on Aug 20 and baby had a heart rate of 143 bpm. However, the most I’ve felt it move (if anything) are flutters which sometimes I’m even not sure if it is or it is gas. When did you actually start to feel baby kick and move to say for sure that it was the baby? We have our anatomy scan for 22 weeks next week and wonder if I should just be patient and wait til then or message my doctor sooner. Thank you &”
“I'm 7 months pregnant and it genuinely is making me feel queasy when he starts moving and kicking a lot. I want to hear why you love it so I can trick my brain into loving it too. 😂 submitted by /u/fallen-fan [link] [comments]”
“I’m at 29 weeks. My husband and I attended a hospital tour last night and it came up that during labor you can be in any position you want, but once you are crowning and close to 2 pushes away, the hospital requires you to be on your back. I’m small, with a very tight pelvic floor that I am going to PT once a week for to loosen things up and gain muscle in the right places. I’m scared of tearing, and am on the fence on whether or not I would like an epidural should all be relatively “normal” dur”
“I’m 13 weeks 3 days today. My placenta is posterior and I swear I’m feeling movement. Am I out of my mind? This is my 3rd baby. submitted by /u/RecordLegume [link] [comments]”
“It’s happened about 10 times this week on different days, but…I think I’ve heard a loud clicking sound coming from my baby? I’m 34 weeks and feeling so heavy and tired. Baby is as energetic as ever and I’m so thankful she’s doing okay BUT WHAT THE HELL? Is this normal? Why is this happening?? 😭 submitted by /u/mepuddinggirl [link] [comments]”
“Hi mommies, how often does your baby move around 22 weeks? I’m thinking to start tracking in an app from now since the thumps has been reallyyyy obvious since 21 weeks. And honestly it feels so cool, I really love feeling my babygirl. 🩷 I felt movements only after 19 weeks, started off just 1-2 taps a day in the evening. At 20 weeks the tap frequency increased but still only happens in the evening and sometimes before I sleep. By 21-22 weeks the taps were significantly stronger and lasts from m”
“Hi, I’m 27 weeks and I read there should be a schedule or routine with baby movements/ sleep or kicks. But I feel him randomly through out the day and night. I feel more movements than him resting. Did anyone picked up a routine in the womb? I’m concerned. submitted by /u/Admirable-Chicken536 [link] [comments]”
“I am genuinely at a loss as to what to do anymore. I (22f) am pregnant (12 weeks) with what will hopefully be my second earth side baby after an early loss. My first kid is almost 3 and out of the blue, I cannot stand physical contact with her. I’m a SAHM, husband works full time but does most of the housework when he’s home. I truly have it so easy compared to most moms. We do not have much family support, really only my dad and sometimes my mom. Husbands family is quite toxic and we’re low con”
“I'm 28 weeks and my baby is always moving and kicking since early pregnancy all the ultrasound techs mentions it and so does my OBGYN. I read they are suppose to to sleep a lot but he doesn't. 😩 I’m scared. I feel him all day and night. He already facing down. Did your babies move a lot? Are they healthy? How was it when they were born? submitted by /u/Admirable-Chicken536 [link] [comments]”
“I'm having a baby boy and am a FTM. I'm currently 21w4d pregnant, and I have been feeling flutters and kicks even with an anterior placenta since 18w. It's been getting more common but oh my GOD tonight -- Tonight has been a nightmare. I've already had trouble sleeping due to having to go off my psych meds (I didn't HAVE have to, but I chose to be tapered off to decrease risk to baby). Finally got some sleep last night. Now tonight, it's like Baby has increased his activi”
“tldr: I was scolded for going to the nearest hospital instead of the hospital I'll be delivering, where my providers are. Yesterday I noticed my baby wasn't moving as much or as boisterously as usual. I did all the tricks, then ate a large dinner and laid on my left side, which is when I usually feel him the most. I didn't feel him at all. I decided to go to the local hospital 10 minutes away instead of going to the hospital I'll be giving birth at, where my midwifery practice op”
“I know it’s very early but last week (week 5+) I experienced nausea, cramping and tiredness in the evening, and since yesterday it’s much less and almost nothing… I still get out of breath a bit more easily and during working out this morning I was more exhausted, also more hungry, but all other symptoms I had subsided… Do I need to be worried or is this normal? Thanks for any support submitted by /u/Possible_Bread4711 [link] [comments]”
“How did your baby movements change week to week? This is my first pregnancy and I felt movement starting around week 21. It’s so up and down though! Last week it felt like the baby was rolling around in me and this week it’s more just twitches as opposed to big moves. Definitely makes me feel a bit nervous. I did my glucose a few days ago 24 + 5 days and even then didn’t notice a lot of movement when I waited for an hour :( When does it really start to pick up again? I know this could be due to”

“Hi I am a second time mom currently 34w1d and had what I think was a labor scare the other day? I had noticed a decrease in baby’s movement and some BH so I went into L&D and baby ended up of course jumping around and looking perfect but my contractions were showing on the monitor so they gave me some fluid and Procardia so see if that would stop them. It worked for about 15 minutes and than the contractions came back and were happening every two minutes. I was only a fingertip dilated when”

“Maybe wanting advice? Maybe wanting hope? I’m just a little over 20 weeks. I had my scan 2 days ago and they couldn’t get all my pictures because my baby kept moving, spinning, etc. the tech told me I was gonna have to come back to get the rest of the pictures. I got an email after my appt with the notes and it said abnormal and incomplete scan. I looked at the abnormal part and googled of course. It says the babies heart is dextrocardia(positioning of the heart to the right). They made me have”
“I am roughly about 11 weeks pregnant and I haven't had an ultrasound since I was roughly 6wks mostly bc I couldn't get on insurance for a while now I have some and my first appointment is the 25th. But I've been worried about loosing my baby even though I haven't had any signs of miscarriage should I be worried if I have almost no symptoms of pregnancy they come and go is this normal I need reassurance as a first time mama or should I go to urgent care to be safe? submitted”
“Hi guys! Maybe someone in here can relate to what I’m going thru. But I just had an ultrasound today, according to gestational age, I’m 7w2d. Baby was measuring 5w5d. Fetal pole was detected but no heartbeat. I haven’t seen my measurements to everything so maybe I need those too? But they want me to come back in about a week to do a repeat scan. I just wanna know if anyone has experienced this and everything ended up being fine? I am a nervous wreck I could be going thru a miscarriage. I have ne”
“This may sound silly, but I feel like I am underthinking. At 25 weeks I was diagnosed with Anemia. I got IV infusions of iron and getting better now. I could barely eat whole first trimester and hemoglobin levels dropped. as a domino effect, I had no appetite. Now my appetite is coming back and just yesterday got diagnosed with GD. Many of my friends had GD and they comforted me. I wasn’t worried about that but definitely annoyed a bit that now I need to check and report my blood sugar levels. I”
“Since Sunday I have been feeling what I thought was a sharp kick to the bladder because I had felt it before on some occasions but have started feeling it more often specially if I’m on my feet for a while. I don’t really tend to feel it if I’m laying down. I’m 34 weeks pregnant and had my first at 36 weeks and 4 days so I am a little scared. I called my doctors office and they said if I don’t have any bleeding and can feel the baby move it’s fine. I have a doctor appt tmrw thankfully. Hopefully”
“Hi ladies, I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant (35+0 to be exact), and after today's appointment, I'm going crazy. The doctor said "skeletal dysplasia (dwarfism) can't be ruled out," and I'm very worried. I wanted to ask if any of you have had a similar situation, where your leg measurements fell in the percentiles, but your baby was born healthy? Throughout the pregnancy, the measurements increased as follows (approximate percentiles are given in parentheses): 18+3 tc:”
“I saw a video earlier today, a woman discussing signs her baby had passed in the womb, one of the signs was she still felt movement but they weren’t kicks just like shifts and rolls. I feel so stressed because now I’m convinced my baby isn’t kicking me, my boyfriend said he’s feeling her kick and I feel it too but I just can’t tell if it’s a kick anymore I feel so freaked out I can’t sleep, she only seems to move later on at night and in the evening she hasn’t really established a proper routine”
“Looking for some reassurance I know I should be grateful and I am and if this changes I know I can come back to this post and laugh at myself. But I am 6 weeks and have no symptoms... Pregnancy confirmed by a blood test and have my 8 week scan booked in. It’s honestly just a waiting game till the next appointment and I’m counting down till it comes around. “I’m in week 5 of my pregnancy and beginning to stress out over what can increase the likelihood of neural tube defects. In the same day, I went to a barre class where I got extremely sweaty (never got my heart rate above 128, though) and a concert where I got extremely sweaty while dancing. These are both things that I did frequently before getting pregnant. In neither case did I feel dizzy or nauseous, although my cheeks did briefly feel a little flushed. At the show, there was some pushing and”
“I’m 22 weeks pregnant with my first baby, a little girl, and I feel like I’m constantly going back and forth between being super excited and worrying about something going wrong. I can hear or see something about GD, miscarriage, complications, etc. and i immediately think negatively or go on a worrying spiral. I’m also still in disbelief that I’m even pregnant and actually going to be a mom. I haven’t bought anything yet & part of me gets emotional thinking about her wearing everything and”
“Hello. I’m feeling terrified and hoping to get some reassurance. My baby has been measuring small since the first time he was scanned at 7 weeks. We were told it was unlikely to progress and to anticipate miscarriage. This never happened. Since then we have had numerous scans and he has consistently been about a week to 10 days behind. It was an IVF pregnancy so no wiggle room with dates. Since our detailed anatomy scan at 21 weeks he has been steadily tracking between 3-5th percentile. Positive”
“Hi! I am 33 weeks pregnant with my first and still feeling pretty decent! I have to get up once or twice a night to pee, have to deal with some rib soreness and leg tiredness but overall im still feeling good enough to travel out of state for work, run, and live my normal life with just a bit less energy! I know the last few weeks of pregnancy are a whole new ballgame. Wondering if anyone else felt the same around now and when they suddenly declined? submitted by /u/Every-Butterfly-3”
“Hi, I'm 21 weeks and have been feeling gentle movement since 15 weeks. It has become daily with distinct movement feelings over the past week. My body keeps tensing and feeling uncomfortable and my mind starts to feel a fearful lack of control when I feel kicks. I think it's because I associate all sensation in my uterus with traumatic pain and cramps from endometriosis type symptoms in the past. When I feel the kicks, it doesn't really hurt but my brain still interprets it as danger”
“I’m seeing this a lot.. I’m aware that 5 weeks 5 days is too early to see a fetal pole. But I’d love to hear experiences. I’m going back at 6 weeks 3 days. Should something be seen by then? submitted by /u/Additional-Ideal-56 [link] [comments]”
“so for 3 weeks now we’ve been having regular growth scans, and baby is 5th centile. shes measuring 3lbs at 33 weeks, and was advised we may need to have an elective c-section anytime between 34-36 weeks. I have low Papp-a which is restricting blood flow to the baby, so we have multiple scans a week now to pick up any symptoms just in case baby needs to be out ASAP. my sister had pre eclampsia with her first, and hypertension with her 2nd pregnancy so I’m being monitored for everything at once. s”
“Tomorrow I hit 14 weeks pregnant! Been feeling with LOTS of round ligament paint, but also every now and then I feel my lower belly is so heavy!? I hardly have a bump, my friends say it looks more like beer belly, or food bloat (which sucks to hear) but since they know it’s a baby they see that it’s a baby bump. Anyways the feelings I’m enduring! Small cramps here and there as my uterus grows, but lower belly feeling heavy so I love to walk and hold my belly. Back main is ok, tail bone kicks my”
“I’m 18 weeks along, and now I’m second-guessing everything. I thought I felt the first movements at 15 weeks, but for the past few days, I haven’t felt a thing—or maybe I *think* I feel something, which makes me doubt what is actually happening. It’s not consistent, though; it might happen once or twice a day. There were three days where I felt absolutely nothing, so I rushed to get an ultrasound. The baby was moving around a lot in there, but I literally couldn't feel a thing. I have an ant”
“Im headed to ER rn because im 36 weeks and my baby was just moving violently for a couple minutes non stop, then went silent. Its been an hour since ive felt anything!! “I am 13wks pregnant with our first- and everyone is ecstatic... except me, for a myriad of reasons: My only symptoms I have are: a positive pregnancy test when I was 4wks late, mild increase in headaches (I have migraines so not a new thing for me), and a healthy ultrasound at 10wks. All great things right? I mean I guess, but I don't feel pregnant, I really just am so frustrated and feel alone. My husband is so frustrated with me because I am not happy about it. And I am frustrated with him”
“Any diagnosed with both of these conditions? I found out at my 20 week scan on Monday and will be monitored monthly with possible c section at 37 weeks if placenta doesn’t move. Ob is very nonchalant about this stuff- but I’m a nervous wreck. Feel like every little movement in my stomach requires a hospital visit. Like right now, feels like little guy is just moving but I’m worried it’s more than that due to these conditions. I’m trying my best not to stress like my OB told me not to lol s”
“I’m 9 weeks today. I saw baby on an abdominal ultrasound today. FHR 180. Measuring perfectly. On Monday I walked around Walmart getting groceries, later that night, I started spotting and it’s been off and on very light brown spotting since. Today I walked around Walmart again, now I’m spotting light red/pink. I’m totally freaked out. Is this normal? Has anyone had this issue? submitted by /u/Leelahh133 [link] [comments]”
“What does baby kicking feel like? I’m 18 weeks and 5 days with my first baby and I woke up to what felt like fast thumping in my stomach. The thumping would start again when I would turn over lol. “12w2d and I’m CONSTANTLY terrified something has happened and the baby is gone. I’m plus sized so it’s very hard for me to see a bump of any kind. I have symptoms but cramping and round ligament pain feels the same to me. What if something is happening as opposed to normal pregnancy symptoms?? I have an ultra sound tomorrow thank god but I’m preparing for the worst. It doesn’t help that I’ve seen so many loss posts today. When does this stop? Does it stop? “(FTM) The only thing my OB has told me about feeling movement is that it sort of feels like gas bubbles, and that’s a good way to describe what I’m feeling off and on today. Earlier this afternoon when I got home from work I started feeling like a rolling sensation along the inside of my stomach, if that makes sense… does this sound like feeling baby’s movement? Any more experienced moms that can describe what it feels like a bit better? I want to get all excited but I don’t want to if that’s no”

“Hi, I’ve noticed decreasing movement in my son over the last two days. I’m 37 weeks today. I was just in L&D Thursday for contractions and his movements were crazy like always. But today his movement is slow. So I’m going to go in. Despite my husband telling me I don’t need to and that he’s probably fine and probably asleep. Can anyone share their story of decreased movement that resulted in labor. I know that’s weird to ask but if I have to go into emergency csecions I want to know it will”
“I have hyper-mobility to begin with and bad pelvic separation in pregnancy since the first trimester. As time goes on it’s gotten more and more painful and now I’m at the point where I physically cannot walk more than 10 mins, can’t bend over, can’t sleep laying down or my pelvis will crack violently when I inevitably get up 2-5 times a night to pee so I have to sleep in a recliner. My feet and legs also swell really bad and I just generally am unwell unless sitting in my recliner. I have my bab”
