“It's that time of year again where I've had to start drying my clothes and other items indoors. Yet they always smell bad when I dry them indoors? In the summer I dry my clothes outside on a washing line while I can as I always smells fresh yet if the pollen counts is high this does cause me issues when I wear the clothes. “I work in a group home, there's a lot of soiled bedding that goes through the wash. Some staff rush it and don't know or care about double rinsing. The dryer exhaust smells like pure piss. “So as the title suggests, our washing smells and I can’t get to the bottom of why. It comes out of the washing machine, sometimes smelling almost vinegary. We tumble dry somethings, others we hang dry and the smell seems to be on everything. I’ve run a vinegar and bi carb wash to clean the machine, run it with the bottles of cleaning stuff, I empty the water filter at the bottom of the machine to see if it’s blocked somehow and it isn’t - nothing helps.
