YouTube Comments Vanish or Land on the Wrong Video
Users are experiencing inconsistent and unreliable comment functionality on YouTube. Issues range from comments disappearing or appearing on the wrong videos, to formatting errors and thread display problems. This creates frustration and disrupts engagement for both content creators and viewers.

“Pretty much what the title says. I am wondering this, because: I've commented on a video recently, which was (likely) not favorably received by the uploader. “20 mins on a 20 min video doesn't make much sense. In order to have watched it all prior to commenting, they'd have to hit play as soon as it was uploaded. Otherwise after those 20 mins the comments are wide open for everyone, watch or not. What you're after would require a feature where the entire video would have to be played before the comments were available, but then again, it's not hard to get around that, either.
