“My husband and I work a lot and my house has gotten into a bit of a state. I vacuum regularly and clean my kitchen and whatnot but my shower caulking is gross, my bathroom floors need mopping, I havent done the baseboards in forever, the blinds and fans are gross, etc. If I hired a maid for a deep cleaning would they be disgusted? I dropped a piece of chicken and the sauce made a mess on the floor, so I used a Clorox wipe to clean it up and the wipe turned black. “I've got an older bathroom with beige stone-look vinyl (or linoleum) tile — the kind with a bumpy texture and recessed "grout" lines. “I hate mopping my floors. I actually hate it so much that I never do it. I purely do vacuuming. What I hate about it is that there is no clear separation between dirt and clean. For me to feel it would clean, I would make one stroke but then change the whole mop and water because otherwise I feel I'm just using dirty water to "clean" the floor.
