“My hospital is adopting a dept. based color code for employees. So all employees in a dept. have to wear wear scrubs that are the color the hospital has chosen. My dept. must have drew the short straw because we got light grey, and unfortunately my favorite scrub brand (FIT) doesn't make light grey (and apparently it turns out most of the top scrub companies don't). “Technically you should were your top tucked in if you work in the OR or similar sterile environment. Surgical scrubs are unisex and often fit women poorly. I am a curvy f RN in the OR, and choose to wear my scrub top untucked, bc in order to fit dis booty into unisex scrubs, I have to size up and tie the pants nearly up to my chest. Unisex scrubs are made to fit men, so they have an easier time tucking tops into pants and can still look professional.”

“I work in the OR. Men tend to tuck because the unisex scrubs work well for them. Women go untucked because hips don't jive with the scrubs. Female residents tend to tuck and it looks vulgar, like wearing a leotard. I don't know who told them to tuck so tight.”
