“Hi, I got invited for the MBA interview with alumni and it states that I will have to make a 10 minute presentation. Anyone who has done this? How was the process? What kinds of topics are they interested in? How detailed should the presentation be? Is PowerPoint fine? Would love to discuss. Thanks submitted by /u/Interested007q [link] [comments]”

“I come from a legal background and legal interviews are basically very aggressive interrogations, which sometimes last hours. The MBA interviews are supposedly very important for admission but like, they’re all relatively short, non-interrogative questions, and done by half awake students rather than admissions faculty. Are they that important to your application or is it just making sure you’re normal? submitted by /u/dhwinwga [link] [comments]”

“I’ve submitted all my MBA applications, received interview invites, and completed a few of the interviews so far. At this point, is there anything else I should be doing to improve my chances, or is it just a waiting game until decisions come out? submitted by /u/finalcut67 [link] [comments]”

“Just completed my interview for Stanford GSB. Didn’t think it went well. Interviewer was not prepared and I’m unsure how they might evaluate my candidacy. Sent a thank-you note and didn’t receive a response. I’m spinning because rare moments of opportunity like these are hard to come by in my life and in any of our lives in particular. Looking to seize this rare moment of opportunity Feel free to drop your experience down below. Very worried I might not get in! submitted by /u/HYSCan”

“I’m looking for some advice on what makes the most sense in my situation. I originally planned to start law school in Fall 2026, but I didn’t get accepted, so I decided to start my MBA instead. I’m now applying to law school again for Fall 2027, and if I get accepted, I definitely want to go since law school has always been my main goal. My MBA is 12 courses/36 credits total. I’m currently taking 3 courses in Fall 2026. If I continue taking 3 courses per semester, I’ll take another 3 in Winter 2”

“Hi everyone! I just received my Yale SOM Round 1 interview invite , and I’m incredibly excited and little nervous too about the next step. I’d really appreciate any guidance from Yale students, alumni, admits, or anyone who has gone through the SOM interview process . I’m particularly interested in hearing about (not exhaustive): What the interview was actually like and what kinds of questions came up Anything you wish you had known or prepared before your interview How you approached the “Why Y”

“Hi everyone! I’m currently preparing for MBA interviews and was wondering if anyone here would be interested in doing mock interviews together. Ideally, we could take turns interviewing each other for around 30 minutes and then spend some time exchanging feedback. I’m mainly looking to practise behavioral questions, career goals/Why MBA/Why school, and getting comfortable with unexpected follow-ups. Happy to work around time zones. If anyone is also interviewing this cycle and would like to prac”

“So I missed the EA open interview slots but submitted the application. I've been reading some posts that some candidates already received interview invite emails after the September 9 EA deadline and I'm getting increasingly anxious as I haven't gotten one yet. “Hi everyone, I would love to hear from anyone who has recently completed their Tuck interview. If you’re comfortable sharing, I would really appreciate insights into: How was your overall interview experience? What types of questions were asked? How did you prepare? Is there anything you wish you had known or done differently before the interview? I understand that interview experiences can vary depending on the interviewer and the applicant’s profile. I’m simply trying to get a better sense of”

“I have my UMich interview coming up this week and its my first one so I'm a little more stressed than normal. If anyone who has interviewed there in the past has any advice or tips or anything about how it was that would be so awesome. I've generally been hearing good things about it but just wanted to see. “Had my DLSU-MBA interview yesterday! I thought it would just be casual, but wow! it felt like a job interview all over again lol. It was tough! I already took the DGAT last June and barely got through that, then this interview came so fast with only a few days to prepare. The results will be out next week, so I’m leaving it up to the Lord. If it’s meant for me, I’ll get it 🥺 Still, I’m really hoping for a big YES! 🙏 #Manifesting submitted by /u/ManagementNarrow5623 [link] [co”
