“I have been having some transmission issues. First, I realized a trans cooler line had a hole in it and was throwing up transmission fluid so I replaced the line. Filled with fluid and was fine until one day I was driving and the transmission started grinding. I got it home, rechecked fluid, it was low so I filled it again. “I have a 2003 Monte Carlo. I replaced the shocks and struts but when it gets cold, everything clunks and creaks with the suspension. Problem is I can’t find a kit that’s a high quality brand. I’d like to replace the bushings, links, ball joints etc. Any thoughts? I’m reading Detroit axle and TRQ aren’t the greatest quality. “my dads truck started messing up about 2 weeks ago, it sounds healthy towards the front but at the exhaust it sounds like it gurgles like it’s cammed or something- The stabiltrak light is on & po300 which reads random misfires we’ve changed the spark plugs, coil packs, wires, timing chain, camshaft sensor, crankshaft sensor, oil pan gasket & oil pump. “For context i have a 2007 chevy Silverado 1500 with 180,000 miles and ive already spent thousands fixing it. I keep having this problem where whenever i accelerate it makes a squeaking noise. “A fuse jack can be used on any existing fuse, including the one you haphazardly jammed that wire into. You'll be lucky if that doesnt expand the fuse slot. If it does expand it, you're basically screwed and need to redo that whole slot for a single fuse to fit in it, let alone a fuse jack”
“sounds like the multifunction switch is on its way out, i had a chevy from that same era do the exact same thing where the headlights would randomly ghost me and then come back after messing with the turn signal stalk enough the fact that hitting the high beam switch brought everything back is a dead giveaway, those gm stalks are notorious for the contacts wearing down inside and causing intermittent connection issues tell the mechanic exactly what you wrote here, especially that last part about”
