I like the birkies but I keep seeing ads for snibs and one of my friends has them and highly recommends them. He says that the support and comfort is far superior to birkies. “apologies I don’t know the correct terminology, but can sneakers be “re-soled” as in they are perfectly fine to keep wearing but the cushion/sole has worn down to the point it’s hurting my feet? Birkenstock Super Birkies. They’re rubber clogs and they wash out easily.

“Garden clogs or my worn out, gross sneakers with holes in the toes. Depends on the day. A few years ago, Aldi had crocs-like rubberish garden shoes for $8. These were too wide and kinda dangerous to wear in mud.”

“I've tried scrubbing with an old tooth brush and it won't budge, I've already run them through the washer as well. I have them soaking in a little bit of hot water only filled up to the very bottoms with a little laundry detergent, but if that doesn't work what else should I try? “If you’re not already, start running. Every 6-12 months, replace your running shoes. Your most recently replaced pair becomes your general “work shoes”. The second oldest pair becomes your grass mowing shoes. And wearing them indoors is absolutely disgusting. Think about how much feces you could be bringing indoors 🤮”

“This is my last pair. I worn out the soles under year of use. ( I work 6 days a week an walk waay too much ~ 20k steps/day on average, got flat feet on top of that ) otherwise the boot held pretty good compared to different timberland models inhad in past.. i was going to buy them again but my size is sold out.
