“Clover isn't going to be much better than crabgrass. it doesn't handle traffic well at all.”
“What is this crabgrass looking grass? I don’t think it’s crabgrass we treat for that, but I guess I could be wrong. Maybe a field grass of some sort? All of a sudden it’s everywhere. I noticed some last year and pulled it out but now it feels like it’s taking over. Any help is appreciated. Located in West Michigan. submitted by /u/mitch1s [link] [comments]”
“Pic 1 before mowing - Pic 2 after mowing To be honest, I don't even know how it got in this state. Our yard has been very very healthy since we moved in two decades ago, but this year our yard went back. The back and front yard also have a few crabgrass outbreaks, but not as bad as this. I think it might be due to the drought we had this April/May. Any tips on how to fix this for next summer? submitted by /u/eggnogeevee [link] [comments]”
“My neighbor used to mow my lawn before he moved away last year. I have no idea what I’m doing. (See attached reel mower). I don’t need my lawn to be perfect, I just don’t want it to stick out like a sore thumb in the neighborhood. Ive been mowing it at high setting the last two months and am planning on cutting it low in early September before overseeding. submitted by /u/jongreengon [link] [comments]”
“My lawn got infested with crab grass or at least that’s what I think this is but then it looks like there’s two types of crab grass as well. Could it be because of the seed I used? submitted by /u/streetcookthrowaway [link] [comments]”

“Hey all. South east US backyard lawn that is entirely crabgrass, or at least I think it is. Also on a hill so mowing sucks. Posting it so someone might feel better about their situation. I just don’t have time to work on it right now and with three large dogs, almost doesn’t make sense. Not looking for any advice or anything, but feel free to provide any if you want. submitted by /u/Lyellwolf [link] [comments]”
“Some people like it. Not many other options in some places. I don't like the lime green color for 5 months, and dead brown color for other 7 months every year. It also grows insanely fast during the hottest most miserable time of year to work outside.”
“Doesn’t kill the roots. In fact, helps it multiple later. Might as well be putting a banaid on an infected wound”
“It's not offensive. I'm generally a very natural, non-chemical person. BUT I just moved into a house with a very nice lawn. I don't want to ruin it. It's very nice to be able to run around barefoot outside!”

Right? It’s a “discussion forum” - without questions what’s the point?
