“Update: I finally figured it out! You take a nylon cable kind of like the kind that you used to tie out dogs on, but you can get this at tractor supply for cheap in like the rope section. And you take the clip things next to the rope section. Then you take a circular dog toy - I use Benabone. Voila! No more taking toys outside. “I’m in need of some help dealing with a dog I’m fostering. She’s a terrier mix who loves to get in the trash (we’re working on that) and today I found a AA battery that had been chewed on that she had gotten from my bedroom trash can. I checked her mouth and noticed foam and a foul smell and I immediately washed her mouth out with water. Her tongue is missing skin and there is some grayish-yellow discoloration.
