“I was working on a video and hit the new “Get Feedback” tool on my draft before publishing it. After the tool analyzed my video, I wasn’t able to open the draft anymore - now the app just says “Unable to recover edit. You may remove it from your drafts.” I tried to create a dummy video and had the same issue after hitting “Get Feedback” again. After updating the YouTube app, I was able to use the Get Feedback tool, but my original video’s draft is still showing up as corrupted. Is there any way”

“Hi, I am trying to remix some of my videos into shorts in the YT mobile app. I click the "share" icon, then "Remix" then "Edit into short". The editor comes up and the video starts to play - about half way through the video, the language suddenly switches from my original audio into something that sounds like Arabic! It does this every time with one particular video, but not with others. My language and preferred language are set to English everywhere. Automatic dub”

“Description There’s no obvious way to edit video settings via Studio once it’s posted. In mobile web, a user must visit their profile, click on “Analytics”, then go to the top left menu and select “Posts” before there’s any sign of an edit button. This is far from an intuitive path. “I tried to upload a video (gameplay). Among the content, there are some CGI sequences that are not permitted by the original owner, so the video during the upload becomes automatically detected and obscured so only I can see it (it's still not a copyright strike). Still, I tried to claim the video is safe for fair use reasons. (more than that, those CGI sequences are publicly present on other youtube channels, so they aren't exactly forbidden, and also i don't care about making money”

“YouTube Studio Video Editor doesn't update the video instantly. After you hit "Save", it has to re-process and re-render the entire video on YouTube's servers, which can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours depending on video length and server load.”

“YouTube very recently moved the Save button from the menu to a clickable button under the Comment button. The problem, it actually makes it more tedious to add one short to any custom playlist. Before, you could open the menu, click the Save button, and gives you a list of playlists you've made and the Watch Later playlist. Now, it saves it in a "Saved Shorts" playlist, and the ONLY way to save it to another playlist is by clicking the three dots on the top right, clicking Save to”

Every workflow I've tried means cutting to a separate track, recording a voiceover, splicing it back in.
