Creators Fighting YouTube Shorts Bugs

“Recently I’ve been getting a lot of intrusive UI on my shorts in the Mobile App of Youtube, but the most distracting one is the description and account, now in the middle instead of the bottom. I’m not sure this is an odd youtube UI update, it completely ruins my view of the short. I haven’t seen anyone else post about it. Is there any way to fix this? Please let me know. “I would post my videos on youtube and download them to my phone from YouTube Studio afterwards to edit them to make them into shorts. When I download my own videos, they come up corrupt. No matter if they are public, unlisted, private, short, regular video, YouTube, or YouTube Studio. The videos keep downloading and coming up corrupt on my phone. “I mean not even that small testing phase. I've had shorts get over 10-20k and now I am uploading them and I'm stuck on 0 plays for over 24 hours. My video doesn't have music, it's completely filmed by myself. It's public, it's not got any restriction flags and I've not accidentally selected 'Made for Kids' or 18+. “okay so ive been deleting and reuploading some of my youtube shorts right after i posted them just because they were doing badly in the first 20 minutes or so (i know, im stupid for this). now my shorts have been doing fine and i kept repeating this habit of deleting and reuploading, and randomly when i posted a short it did horrible. the short before that had 2,000 views and 120 likes or so and this one had 300 views and 22 likes. and every short i posted after that also did horrible. is there”

“Everything is normal for me, up until the part where I actually add the tracks. Normally, you hover over the dash, & a pencil appears, which allows you to upload it. When I upload my YouTube Shorts from my iPhone 14 Pro Max, the short automatically defaults to 720p at 30fps. But in my camera roll before I upload, it’s 1080p 60fps. “I wanna change the thumbnail to a short I made so it can actually reflect the content within, but they don’t let you change it on desktop.
