“Give the tomatos time. The first round of them tend to be small. But there’s going to be all different sizes on a single plant. They are nowhere near as consistent as the grocery store tomato’s.”

“The leaves on my tomato are wilting. I trimmed off some of the infected leaves but every day, a new branch is infected. I don't know what to do. “I think you’d be fine as long as you don’t try to separate them. If it was me I’d transplant them together into a much bigger pot in case the roots are entangled in some way. Alternatively you could just wait out this season and go for it bigger next year”

The plant on the left is a small grape tomato plant, and the one on the right is an Early Girl tomato plant. They started growing upward, but they have gotten so tall that if I let them continue straight up, they would probably be as tall as my house. “And if not, how can I make them bigger? I grew this plant from seed and the packet calls them "tumbling toms (red)". When it first started fruiting it had 1 or 2 that were a bit bigger but now they're all ripening at about 1cm wide. The back of the packet said they would be large cherry tomatoes so I wasn't sure if I'd upset the plant somehow. “From my experience this is girdling of the fruit by the blossom due to high humidity. The blossom is supposed to dry and crack loose while the fruit forms but instead stayed damp and pliable while the fruit grew and didn’t snap and fall until the fruit had been affected. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong, I’ve settled for this answer since our humidity was off the charts while I was dealing with this same issue. “For what it’s worth, I ran the pic of the plant itself through a Plant ID app (PlantNet), & it said 51% that it was solanum pimpinellifolium, which are currant tomatoes, and are usually small. Solanum dulcamara (climbing nightshade) was rated as a 2% possible ID. Very cute fruits either way 🙃😅 I hope they really are tiny tomatoes!!! Edit: ran your pic of the leaves & flowers through and it brought it up to 62% certainty little tomatoes, climbing nightshade less than 1% certainty”
