“Short answer: No one knows. Long answer: The obsidian team is small and they currently have an open position for an android developer that they haven't filled yet. Once they hire someone then I guess it will take a bit of time. I can't say for sure how long it will take once…”
“Happy to but I am on iPhone so I cannot install an Android build. Two things I did notice while trying: the Play Store link in your post 404s unless you have already joined the group and accepted the opt-in, so anyone clicking your links out of order will think the app is…”

“Hi there! First of all, thank you for creating OpenSidian! It looks like an amazing project with a lot of potential, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how it evolves. I was wondering if there are any plans to support Android in the future.…”
“I think this is an absolutely wonderful plug in and I was wondering if you would be open to adding mobile support for Android.”

Hello It would be wonderful if you would add support for droidspaces. Thank You

“Really cool. Do you have plans to port it to Android? [re: Presenting Morrow, an open source, privacy focused, and always free alternative!]”
“Hi there, First off, huge kudos on Strata — I stumbled across it recently and had a proper look through your repos as well. Honestly, brilliant work across the board; it’s a cracking piece of kit, exceptionally tidy, and does exactly what it says on the tin without unnecessary bloat. What caught my eye straight away is that you’ve already licensed it under the GNU AGPL v3. You’ve done all the heavy lifting to keep it genuinely free and open source, which makes it feel like a massive missed tri”
Hello Thank you for making this awesome & cool app Can you please make it for android? Thank you
“I'd love to see an Android App of Superbacked in the long run. Ideally it should be fully open source and not require any google services so it runs smoothly on degoogled phones like on Graphene OS devices.”
“Short answer: No one knows. Long answer: The obsidian team is small and they currently have an open position for an android developer that they haven't filled yet. Once they hire someone then I guess it will take a bit of time. I can't say for sure how long it will take once they hire someone so don't expect it to be quick since the new dev still has to get used to the codebase and there are likely other priorities the team has. I'm not part of the obsidian team so that last bit”
“[!TIP] Apatch is able to work on my phone currently. it would be great for the original dev to check it out soo he can add it to his repo too Also, i know this is unrelated, but this message is for the dev. Im currently working with claude to try to get Apatch working. Soo when i do i would be up for helping you set it up, also, why me? well, theres a bug i been hunting for some time and claude belives to have found it. <img width="768" height="519" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user attac”
I think for mobiles it was a fantastic interface, not so much for desktop
“I asked the Director of Engineering for Proton Drive couple months ago about the folder sync for android and they said it is not in the works for now. Definitely not in 2026. So I hope in the next couple years maybe.”
I used to use the iPad daily, and I would play NX files for hours. Now, I use my phone almost exclusively. I noticed there is no Android app in the Play…
“If you're able to open the devtools and modify localstorage I think adding `EmulateMobile: true` might work.”
“Oh that's sad. 3 years ago is also around the time I moved to Android so quite the coincidence haha”
“Thanks. It’s currently android only. I haven’t made the jump to ios yet, but I’d definitely like to bring Kaphiy there in the future.”
“Hey! First of all, massive thanks for working on bringing Blue Dragon to native recompilation—seeing this masterpiece get the modern treatment is incredible. I noticed there's already some groundwork or support for Linux ARM64. Since modern Android devices and handhelds (like Odin or similar ARM64 systems) share that architecture and are getting increasingly powerful with Vulkan drivers, I was wondering: is an Android port on your radar for the future? I know desktop stability comes first, but s”
“It works for phone and tablet also. It's not available in the community plugins right now because Ive updated the version with new features. It will be live soon.”
“I’m patiently waiting for him to release some client apps for phones and TV’s so I can try it out proper but I’ve been in the beta and it’s a very promising system.”
“That’s really great 👍 I’ve already bought it, but I won’t be able to use it until an Apple version is available. But no worries—I won’t need it again for a few weeks, or rather months. ✌️ As soon as I can provide app feedback, I’ll do so. Other than that, great work—keep it up 😁”
“I would really like to play android games made with passion by responsible developers. I see a lot of developers asking people to play their games but when you go to the link... It's just another one like the previous thousands before.. nothing new or original. If you have a game that you built with all your heart and brain, a game that is not just a clone of other games but your own idea, please share a link so we can all enjoy it!!! Thank you. submitted by /u/Omnipisix [link] &”
I already have the pipeline that does this, but thanks anyway.
“Mate, there are a lot of open-source contributors willingly to help xD The hard part is just to find them lol”
“At this point my only bloker for complete migration is Obsidian having an offical way to link mobile app to google drive”
“Thanks a lot for testing on a Pixel 8 and for the detailed note. I’m glad the visual palette holds up in longer sessions. I’ll reproduce the chain-combo crackle above x4 and check the audio mix/clipping. If you notice whether it happens every time or only after playing for a while, that would help too.”
“Happy to but I am on iPhone so I cannot install an Android build. Two things I did notice while trying: the Play Store link in your post 404s unless you have already joined the group and accepted the opt-in, so anyone clicking your links out of order will think the app is broken. Worth adding "in this order" to the post. If you ever get a web build or a TestFlight version, send it over and I will do a proper pass.”
“Notifications can be listened by installing termux-api in AutoPie. I will create a build for that soon. I am thinking of creating a native notification listener if there are limitations. Android events? you mean broadcasts. This is not supported currently”
“I'm on Apple devices, so I can't test it. But I tried, and that's worth reporting. Your Play Store link gives me "Not Found," because a closed test listing only resolves for people who already opted in. So anyone reading your post who isn't a tester yet hits a dead end on link three. Worth saying "links 2 and 3 only work after step 1." That's three steps before anyone sees a single screen, and every step is a place people quietly quit. You'll never kno”
