Developers building side projects often complete them without a clear avenue for sharing or receiving feedback, leading to frustration and a sense of isolation. They want someone to see and critique their creations.

“Quick context: I'm a musician from Puerto Rico and I genuinely don't own a computer. My iPhone is my whole setup. A while ago I built a little browser studio called Music Remix Studio. You upload a track, mess with the tempo, pitch, EQ, reverb,…”

I'm a hobbyist in Oklahoma. Every weekend I'd juggle a weather app, a radar app and a fishing app just to decide when to go out, so I built one app that…

“I made Melodious, an app where you upload a song and get a music video back. I am a solo founder, so this is the honest version of what the build has been like, in case it helps someone else. What it does: you upload a track, describe the idea (or let it suggest one), and it writes a storyboard, makes stills for each shot, and renders the video. The first storyboard is free so you can see the plan before paying anything. After that it is subscription credits, from $19 a month. What went wrong, i”

“Been working on a side project called UIcraft, where I experiment with UI ideas and interactions. It’s just a place to try things out, not a UI library. This is my latest experiment , a bitmap-style weather interface. https://www.uicraft.in/craft/weather-bitmap Would love to hear what you think! submitted by /u/ImmediateChallenge94 [link] [comments]”

“https://reddit.com/link/1wzcobv/video/5gtuxbf5swth1/player Hi all! I'm a solo developer in Minnesota. I kept doing the same thing every Thursday: opening a weather app, checking five towns one at a time, and trying to remember which one looked best. So I built WeatherRoam. You drop pins on a map and each one shows its forecast, the drive time, and any weather alerts. The part I use most is Weekend Pick: you choose a drive of 1 to 6 hours and it ranks the towns in range by their weekend forec”

I also build with Claude Code, so I can prototype, but I'm not a proper developer and I won't pretend to be. My bet: in IT, robotics and AI, a solid music product can sell well. Almost everything in those worlds is silent, generic or annoying to listen to, and nobody owns the sound side. I have a pile of ideas and I want to test them fast with developers”

“Demo: https://hungry-dog-games.itch.io/wastelandfmgame I put a demo on itch and it ends with recording your first track. WastelandFM tries to bridge the gap between music software and game, I'm trying to make it intuitive and fun (which is hard of course!) But I am looking for feedback and would love to hear your thoughts. Thought it might be interesting for my fellow indie devs, since I know a lot of people are in need of good music in their games (All the sounds are made with my music equi”

“Thanks! It's not that bad. Each datasource is in a database that I query so the data is consistent over time. The data is determined via the Settings where the user turns layers and info on or off so that it queries from the database that way. Aggregation is dynamic and the AI is not really needed other than to provide a briefing over the data that is used. More most users that do not want the AI, the data is simply presented as is in the Info pane, no AI needed.”

“I know this isn't exactly a game, but I think some people here might still be interested. I've been working on a browser-based DAW called WaveSmith that's designed around the sound hardware in a Super Nintendo. The video is a song I wrote in it, exported as a standalone .sfc ROM and running in an emulator. It uses real BRR samples, 8 voices, ADSR, echo and filters, so what you're hearing is the actual SNES sound hardware, not an approximation of it. If you're making a retro-s”

are you planning an android version?

“I got nostalgic for late-'90s/'00 low-poly graphics, combining with my desire to have offline/no subs software as much as possible, so I decided to try and build this music player for my music on files and to have something always floating on the top-right corner of my screen. The classic deck layout, a ten-band EQ and a playlist as windows that dock together, and behind the album cover a 3D world that moves to the music. Five worlds so far: a synthwave grid, a moonlit forest with real r”

“Mood2know- this is a really fun app! No download or signup needed. No bugs found. Matches your mood to a live display of the weather conditions around the world! Looks great! However, I'm wondering if you could somehow add a sharper filter to the aesthetics, some of the colors appear slightly dull. Not a huge issue. I also think this would work great as a mobile app. Would also be great if the faces had animation. Otherwise, really neat and interactive concept!”

“I have been using AI to build Bowcast for a few months. It forecasts when falling rain and low sunlight may line up near you, hour by hour and seven days ahead, and which way to face. The website has been up since July and the iPhone app went on the App Store last week. There is no account system at all, location is only asked for if you tap to use it, and the anonymous sighting reports use coordinates rounded to two decimals to send to me to then calibrate the model depending on the region. “Hey everyone, As a solo developer building Earthquake Tracker: Live Radar in Flutter, community feedback is the only way this tool gets better. My goal is to keep it 100% free, dark mode, with tectonic fault line overlays, magnitude haptics, and zero subscription paywalls. If you’ve tried the app and found it useful, taking 10 seconds to leave an honest review on Google Play helps tremendously with visibility and keeps the project going: 📲 Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details”

“I’ve always loved slowed + reverb music, especially with rain or ambience in the background, but creating that experience usually meant jumping between different tools. So I built SlowVibeMaker for iPhone. You can import your own audio, slow/pitch/reverb it, fine-tune EQ, layer rain, thunder, waves and other ambience, then export the result as audio or video. It started as something I wanted for myself and has now reached 250 users . Still building it, would genuinely love to know what you’d imp”

“Hi everyone: this is my first post, pls give me the noice kindness. My husband has spent so many late nights building Holy Grail Markets , a free website meant to help everyday people feel less lost when they first start learning about investing. He believes reading stock charts should not feel exclusive or impossible to understand. So he created simple, step-by-step guides and tools for people who are busy, new to charts, or simply unsure where to begin. He hates that governments keep printing”
