“I take calls all day and work from home, the only space where my WFH setup fits is a shared wall with my next door neighbor. When I moved in a few months ago I was working every day in office, and I noticed the singing in the morning. I did not think this would be an issue but…”
“I just can't make any sense of it, it's been going for many months now. At first it was like one single thump at around 5 am, then it changed to 3 am, then it became different noises. It's often a sound like a chair dragging at 3 am, sometimes it feels like a piece of wood…”
“All I did was give 4 courtesy knocks and he walks by our Camara and flips us off with the wrong finger. It's getting frustrating. I can't sleep at night anymore without him or his dog making noise. I don't know what else to do but continue contacting our property manager...”
Several tenants are disturbed by a neighbor who sings loudly for extended periods each night, disrupting their sleep. One tenant left an anonymous note requesting quiet hours, which initially worked but the problem has returned.

“Someone in my home plays relaxing sounds to sleep. Sometimes if I wake up for a bathroom break, I'll hear hindi music blasting well after they fell asleep and then later on its back to birds chirping and whatnot”
“Hi, I just started renting an apartment with 2 other friends and we are all students. The flat above recently moved in and I believe they are also students. Since their move in, we have heard loud singing (scales) that go very high occasionally throughout the day, alongside belting and loud singing to what we believe to be from musicals that can be heard throughout the apartment. This has sometimes been as late as 1am at night, and last night was 11pm. This morning, we were woken to her singing”
“I've been here almost 4 years and never heard a thing from anyone next door, but whoever moved in this year, is kinda getting on my nerves. I really don't need to know when my neighbors are doing it lmfao. Yeah maybe I'm a prude but it makes me feel awkward, especially considering that it wakes me up and I can even hear it when I sleep in the living room too. I was thinking of putting a note on their door. What can I say? submitted by /u/queenbeannnnnn [link] [comme”

When I moved in a few months ago I was working every day in office, and I noticed the singing in the morning. I did not think this would be an issue but since I switched to hybrid, I’ve now come to find out that he sings almost all day, every day during working hours. It is driving me crazy. I can hear muffled belting and it almost sounds like moaning, it’s awful. I can he”

It's often a sound like a chair dragging at 3 am, sometimes it feels like a piece of wood falling, or something metallic. It happens most nights and what makes it so weird is how it's silent the rest of the night and how the exact sound changes its nature from one night to another. Just one single s”

“I’m sorry this is gonna be a long read. I (28 F) wanted to come on here to vent because I have exhausted the ear of every person in my life about this, but also because I’m worried about how this situation is going to play out. I moved into my new apartment about a month ago, and unfortunately, I’ve been dealing with a downstairs neighbor (35-ish M) who has surround sound and BLASTS his TV/YouTube videos/music. It happens throughout the day and can start as early as 6:30 AM, sometimes continuing”
“All the noise (music, yelling at/threatening someone) is from my next door neighbor. I’ve never been in this situation. I don’t really want to approach this person myself as they seem unstable. Thoughts? submitted by /u/bigburnski [link] [comments]”

“I woke up to this at 9am (I’m chronically sick and I right now I’m sleeping 4-9am) and it lasted till at least 11am…. I don’t know I put headphones on. Anyway, am I crazy or is this overstimulating to listen to all day. Mind you they make this noise till about 11:30-12am every night. submitted by /u/Bratton88 [link] [comments]”
“I’ve about had enough of this now. For the third week in a row, someone in my apartment building has been loudly singing at around 2am/3am on weekdays. It’s loud enough to wake me up and stop me going back to sleep, but I genuinely have no idea which flat it’s coming from because the sound echoes through the building. I just know it’s close. I’ve complained to management, and they sent a building-wide email reminding everyone to be considerate of noise levels at night. Unfortunately, because I c”
“I am a woman in my twenties that lives alone. I have been putting up with a male neighbour that sings every single night for approx 1.5 hours. This has been going on for months now but I finally reached my breaking point last week when I slid an anonymous note under their door politely reminding them of quiet hours in the lease and letting them know that their neighbours can hear them singing each night and that it is disrupting our sleep. The following night was quiet (!!!!!) and I was so relie”
