“My Carrier Infinity FE4ANF003 was installed in 2023 but lately I've noticed that the filter keeps getting soaking wet. The drain line has been checked and is clear. The tech watched the coil and found water dripping straight off the middle of it instead of running down the fins into the pan. They've cleaned the coil twice but the drip comes back in like a day. “I started hearing a random drip coming from the AC return vent. (Return vent is under HVAC) There was a drip coming from outside of the drain pipe. It was coming from the condenser fins. The condenser is frozen and the AC works fine. I figured maybe the drain line was clogged. It was clogged before but at the p trap not from where it actually drains from the hvac. So I decided to remove the pipe from the drain line and a gush of water comes out. The rest of the line had this gooey mucus looking”

“I live in a condo complex where we have AquaTherm units and I have a leak on this pipe. One HVAC guy said I need to replace the whole unit and another consult a plumber. The plumber said I would need someone who can do brazing involving an AquaTherm unit. At this point I wanted to reach out to the larger community for advice on my options. Had a routine maintenance a month ago, previous servicer had recently been purchased by Service Experts (pertinent), so I let them come out and check out both of my units. Both got a clean bill of health, though I got some yellow flags on my older upstairs unit that is approaching 8 years old. Goodman 2.5 ton, so not a premium unit by any means.
