“Good morning everyone! One of my children had a pen in their pocket. I did not check pockets. I know I should have but didn’t. I have clothes with ink all over them. This includes some nice skorts I bought for my daughter. Yellow skort with black smudges all over it. The stain is set since they have been through the dryer. Any suggestions to get this cleaned up are very much appreciated. Thank you all. submitted by /u/RustyNail2023 [link] [comments]”

“Hoping someone here can give me tips for how to get two glue boards off my floor. They’re stuck upside down. Google seems to suggest vegetable oil but I’m hoping there’s something that doesn’t involve oil as my floors aren’t in good shape with big gaps and I don’t want oil getting in them and possibly attracting more bugs. Would strong rubbing alcohol work? Could I use an MCT oil instead of vegetable oil? Thanks so much! submitted by /u/broadwaybabyto [link] [comments]”

“I recently stayed in a airbnb and my toddlers scribbled all over the floor in crayon. Water, soap, bleach wipes, comet - NOTHING was working. I finally tried fabuloso with hot water. “Hi, I have had these stains for quite a while. Started as the one bigger spot and after a while the others showed up. I don’t think it’s ink as I don’t use pens or pencils often. The only thing I think it could be is maybe oil from car but I don’t really open my car hood very often either. Does anyone know where it could have come from? Tried soaking with dawn dish soap before washing multiple times and it has not helped. submitted by /u/xelamort [link] [comments]”

“I got goof-off but it's not working. I don't have anything on hand but a plastic card.l tried to scrape it off but it's barely doing anything. I've moved out from this rental and don't have any other items on hand. Panicking a bit! This was from double sided adhesive tape on tile to keep carpet in place (never doing that again!). I used a sponge to try scrub it a bit which helped a little but I'm running out of energy quickly. Is there a better way to do this? submi”

“Someone left an uncapped ballpoint pen on my Eilersen couch and it made a mark. Safest way to remove it? The fabric is Eilersen Soft 22, a soft velour-ish material made from 45% viscose, 35% cotton and 20% polyester. submitted by /u/Ugghart [link] [comments]”

“Hi all. I accidentally spilt super glue on the counter with some tissue inside, and freaked out. I looked it up and different sites mainly said acetone. Obviously this is for different countertops that aren’t laminate, but apparently I’m silly and did it anyway. As you can see, it did not remove the super glue. I’m just going to go to the store to get some superglue remover for that, but is there anyway to make this stain look nicer? I’m renting, and I don’t really want to be looking at an entir”

“I just got another ink stain on one of my shirts and I'm honestly getting tired of fighting with these things. “Find a grey dry erase marker, cover the stain with it, and then dab with water. Just do that like 20 times and it'll probably lift out. Dry erase has solvents in it that make the ink flow, but they aren't that strong. If that doesn't work I'd use rubbing alchohol but try not to soak it too much because that could fuck up the glue in the headliner.”

“First stain is cranberry sauce from a month or so ago. Second image happened just now with a Uni Pin Fine Line 0.8 pen. I tried antibacterial hand spray on it, but it just smudged it around ever so slightly. I don't know if this is machine-washable. Mum got it for me as a gift as she knows I love capybaras and it didn't come with any cleaning instructions, etc. Just worried I'll ruin it or something, so I haven't tried dish soap out yet. No idea what the material is either. Third”
