“YouTube is now BLOCKING videos from small creators that feature minors in them, or at least what the algorithm THINKS are minors from people who aren't logged in. Not only will people get flagged a lot, but this will prevent KIDS who don't even have accounts from actually seeing videos featuring their friends (and I don't blame SOME parents who do this to protect their privacy). “Yes it can be done. But these social platforms keep making changes to detect and prevent this stuff. For example, we can look at yt-dlp which does, among other sites, YouTube. They’ve had to play a lot of whack-a-mole to keep it alive (and 3 forks) It would be nice. I remember the days of pidgin and having everything (msn, icq, aol, google chat, irc) in a single place was great. I think community support will be key.”
“Finally was able to apply for monetisation for my kids channel and my Adsense account gets disabled for “invalid traffic”.
