“Hi all, my husband and I have a choice between two 1099 payscales right now. One is 40% of the load but the fuel is paid for, and one is 60% of the load but the fuel is out of your own pocket, but includes a fuel surcharge and discount programs. I know the other pitfalls that come with 1099 already and that’s not as big an issue for us, we would just like to know if being able to write it off on your taxes is a big enough benefit to offset the cost in the first place. submitted by /u”

“I'm a service tech in a cold climate market, way up in far northern Michigan. Up in my region, I see a lot of propane burning systems. My company has been facilitating a lot of inverter driven duel fuel installs around here because propane is expensive, and inverter heat pumps can *actually* do something with the cold. However, I'm noticing that our install crews set the changeover from compressor heat to propane heat at either 35° or 0° with no in-between, and no rhyme or reason. Ȁ”

“I have the Flex card and am level 4 so that’s 6% normally. That’s $0.24 a gallon off. Then I stack the Upside app at $0.23 a gallon at my local BP. “To the Drivers) Honestly we are in our cars 8-12hrs a day 5-6 days a week servicing the people in our communities getting them safely to their destinations, getting them to work, their kids to school, back home making stops waiting on average 3 minutes for them to get into the car etc. Considering posting Signage in your cars. “Okay so now that you said that it's part of a gas station changes everything. Gas stations aren't worried about profits from the car wash they'll usually even give you a discount when you buy gas. Gas stations try to get you to come back over and over so that you'll either by gas by the gallon and they always try to find a way for you to come into the store to spend money.
