“Most of these can be done with Word-Smith Organiser feature- it has a Scrivener-esque outliner. You can edit, remove, add proprieties/frontmatter (synopsis, tags, pov, whatever you like) directly in the table. Custom sort your notes and compiling them for export. It's aimed at writers, but you can use it even as a task manager, see what tasks are not done/done per file, word counts, backlinks, etc. I will relase tommorow the more polished version 1.4.0, so don't forget to check it out. h”
“You can set “subfolder under current folder”, but that won’t automagically move your attachments with the note you move one. zI’ve never tried it, but the Consistent Attachments plugin apparently handle that for you.”

“As a built-in option, it does not exist, however nothing is stopping you from using to feature to keep attachments in the same folder as the note and then you manually moving it to the assets folder you manually created under the subfolder you wanted. Edit: I do the inverse. I have one big assets folder at the top for the entire vault and, where relevant, I create subfolders within it to isolate / group related files - often to match the structure in my notes.”

“hello! i recently started using obsidian, and i'm a big fan so far. however, with a bit of searching i could not find an answer for this: is there a way to get rid of these note icons (or turn them into customizable icons?) i found some icon plugins but those only add an icon rather than replacing this. thanks!. “Friendly reminder if you put all your PowerPoints in a folder, arrange by size, then go into the biggest ones and click “tools” then “compress image size”, it can make them drastically smaller with no effect on quality (often people accidentally resize massive images into PowerPoint slides (full sized image is preserved) and this crops and compresses it (no change to what you see on the slide). “Hey guys, I have been using Obsidian for a while, and I found my old macbook. It is very old, like system version 10.15.7. I did some research, and obsidian 1.7.7 is compatible with it. I downloaded it and I put my vault from my main computer onto a flash drive because I was thinking about using it on both PCs. “There is a community developed android app called boox rapid draw which will give you live pen traces on any app. It's a bit of a cheat as it basically draws a trail wherever you make a stroke or tap on the screen that then disappears and is replaced with the "laggy" input that the underlying app will draw where you used the stylus. Running the "Vimium: Show markers" command or invoking the corresponding keybind in any secondary windows would only show markers in the primary window.
