“So much for a lunch break exam. Variance analysis then straight into outsourcing qual concerns is a wild way to spend a Tuesday morning. I blanked on the transfer pricing bit for a solid minute, just stared at it like it owed me money.”

Not sure if I did my rev rec quants right, missed SE on the lawsuit AO, used the wrong standard for the tools in the greenhouse PPE AO, used the wrong inputs for lease AO… so many small things I should’ve known better for a C 🥲 submitted by /u/cyjkyh [link] [comments]”

“Yah I did the same I thought it was control under consignment not bill and hold but I think as long as your overall discussion was about control and we still did NME we have hopes for RC”

Hey good luck I hope you are good with most of the criteria being similar

What are you talking about both procedures ao were normal no?

The whole of day 2 and 3 is curved

“same, to my understanding they were just a supplier, not a subsidiary that needed to be integrated . just a fc transaction rather than translation. still did it wrong tho lol”

“I thought net variance was unfavourable. Every variance except market size was unf. Weird”

“I'm back at the PA grind post September CFE, and trying to imagine what really changes when we get the letters. If you're a recently designated CPA, give me some hope for why we did this, or if you're waiting or still in the pipeline, what do you hope changes? submitted by /u/Scared_Order2414 [link] [comments]”

“This is what a CFE marker told me a while back: If you simply finished the CFE, (ie attempted all the AOs) theres a very good chance you passed.”

r/AccountingSep 19

“If it makes you feel any better, i also wrote PM and the role AOs were way more time consuming than any retired or practice exam i have ever seen. 5 of the AOs being quant + qual is unfair. I left all of the MA AOs on day 2 basically blank as I had hardly any time to attempt them after finishing the role AOs and then FR AO’s after that”

r/AccountingSep 19

“I did not attempt all the day 2 MA AOs, but I reasonably attempted everything else in the June CFE. I was so convinced I’d fail, but I passed all 3 days with Depth in FR. You’ll be fine”

r/AccountingSep 19

“If it makes you feel better I thought I majorly messed up both FR and MA in June 2026 and somehow got depth in both. Remain positive and stay healthy.”

r/AccountingSep 18

“I think I screwed up Day 2 and didn’t show enough depth in my tax role… For most of the AOs, I basically just wrote something down but didn’t do any of the calculations. Can I still pass it? submitted by /u/Shakesbeer614 [link] [comments]”

“Just want an idea on possible curves for these issues as I feel i am only getting RC for missing or misinterpreting few things Day 2 lawsuit. Could u comment if u recognized it as subsequent event adjusting year end. Or if u recognized as provision and forgot to mention subsequent. Could be a C without subsequent if many missed For lease aspe, did u conclude operating or capital lease? For greenhouse ppe, did u expense or capitalize the bulk of tools under $500 each For day 2 Rev rec did u add t”

“Hey everyone, There were 3 assurance AOs on day 3. I feel like I did good enough on the documents required by the auditors to get a RC maybe even C cuz I had 4 or 5 I think? BUT my concern is that on the audit plan memo I missed the approach part so that is locally nc you guys think? and i did only 2 procedures for the FR issues, would that be nc or hopefully rc? Im just worried about breadth for assurance do I have hope ? Can someone share their thoughts if I’ll be fine if i missed approach and”

r/AccountingSep 17

“I feel confident on the employee vs contractor and vehicle benefit to achieve an RC. Do you think these were separate issues? I also only wrote impact of dividends to shareholders and completely skipped the refund. Is this enough for an RC? I didn't do the corporate taxes payable and just wrote one line recommendation so I'm worried Also for the SG issues how many SWOT, strategic consideration, and CRM would have been enough for RC? submitted by /u/Big_Light_5569 [link]”

r/AccountingSep 17

“As long as you wrote the ASPE criteria and performed the calculations. You should be fine. Since just using a different interest rate would make a difference in the analysis. So I think you are fine. I’m pretty sure a lot of people would have said operating lease.”

“I skipped two MA AO (ABC, pricing) on day 2, and half assessed the KPI AO which I assume is MA as well. Fucked up the responsibility center MA on day 3. Hoping I did the MP vs non MP good enough for a C to save me. I don’t think there was any other MA AOs? Honestly feeling great about everything other than hitting MA breadth.”

r/AccountingSep 17

“In the same position, but just wondering, does A C count as two RC's for breadth (Level 4)? We can comfortably make it provided we get 1 C somewhere in MA?”

r/AccountingSep 17

“It's CAS 610, if you wanted to look it up. Basically the internal audit function needed to be objective, competent, and have a systematic approach. You just had to do IGAR with case facts.”

r/AccountingSep 17

“Just trying to figure out that there were only 3 main tax AOs for day 3 and nothing on Day 2. I didn’t know much about them as these were not anything like we had on Capstone 2. I tried to write something and make it work - just wondering if I would have a passing chance at Tax Breadth submitted by /u/SovereignMonolith [link] [comments]”

“Hey guys for Aldara Ao, my nvps were all negative and for Ram mill option i got like 33 million Npv positive. Anyone knows if it is correct submitted by /u/Calm_Reach9791 [link] [comments]”

“God finance was like WTF. Literally ever practice exam was either income valuation or marker multiplier valuation. Then the fckin exam is like oh hey can you calculate an EBITDA multiple for this valuation. Then value it 2 diffent ways, and then suckered punched us with a joint venture question. There was ZERO acquisition/purchase of shares/assets questions. It's like they looked at every psst CFE practice they gave us and said what if we did the OPPOSITE”

r/AccountingSep 17

“I hope this helps: 1) MA - kpi - discuss the values and i think you needed you recalculate the ratios 2) MA - calculate the operating income for the 4 divisions of the kamloop golf course Provide insight into the result 3 ) calculate the fee that shg should charge the hospital for them to do their fundraiser event using the fair value , all in , and variable cost, make a recommendation which one to charge 144 tickets, and hospital planned to charge $250 per ticket 4) fr - treatment for membershi”

“I’ve only ever seen impact on objectives matter to go from a C to CD on the marking grids, wouldn’t worry about that”

r/AccountingSep 17

“Yeah for the last AO right? They gave risks but then also asked us to provide additional risks”

r/AccountingSep 17

“I got something similar for the JV NPV but jeez, i mustve messed up my leverage ratio so badly cuz i got like 0.5 ..... I must had a typo or something cuz that part I really rushed.”

r/AccountingSep 17

“I made the mistake of thinking I skipped 2 MA AO's, however I have come to realize I potentially might have skipped 3. Did well on 2/3 of FR, not sure about 1 of them but attempted well. I also think I scored enough to get depth in my role. Super nervous for tomorrow. I know I have to focus on MA for tomorrow to pass level 4. Can someone let me know if they were in the same boat as me ? Do I have a good chance to still pass if I lock in enough tomorrow? submitted by /u/accounting”
