“Is it better to deliver a few 2hour blocks then a four hour block. The packages sometimes are overwhelming. Anyone else feel same. Thoughts. Also. Are 2hour blocks more likely to get cancelled more often then 4 hour. Meaning. No route available ???”

“Yes this is the first time I have ever had an issue with this. One time I showed up and the warehouse did have workers there but they didn’t have any of the stuff ready. They still paid out the full block. Another time I was compensated in full for a delivery I was unable to…”

“I haven’t been able to get a single Flex block since June. Not even a base pay block. It happened completely out of nowhere. One day, offers for my warehouse location just disappeared, and they haven’t come back since. I can literally sit there refreshing and tapping all day and get zero offers. This has been going on for over 3 months straight. My standing is Fantastic, I’ve never had any major issues with my account, and I honestly have no idea what happened. I emailed Flex Support about it, b”

“Do yall ever schedule a block and show up and nobody is there to give out packages? I scheduled an evening block, no amazon workers or other drivers are here despite many blocks being taken. It is a severe thunderstorm but no email or update saying its cancelled. submitted by /u/Acceptable-Bus6879 [link] [comments]”

“I took a couple of Amazon Now! blocks to fill in the gaps between my regular blocks. Just 30mins here and there. I figured I was at the station why not? Well it turns out they won't pay out! I checked in and followed all the correct procedures and waited. 30 mins go by and my app screen changes to the get ready screen. No discharge note nothing. According to customer service I am not eligible for payout. I didn't get a route nor was there anything to take. I don't think anyone was ev”

“Does Amazon limit mileage based on the block time or is it just a radius from the warehouse? I’ve had a few Whole Foods blocks that were easily 60+ miles, plus another 20+ to get back to the station. Also, anyway to minimize my standings when I get those blocks in the future. Not really feeling working for free or $10 after gas and wear and tear. submitted by /u/lambo1722 [link] [comments]”

“Would like to get an idea of how busy things are. I may possibly relocate to the area. My understanding is that wtx4 is now a hybrid operation with sub-sameday blocks. How difficult is it to pick up a block a day during the week here? Also, I'm a fairly experienced driver. How difficult would it be to get on part-time with one of the dsp partners? submitted by /u/SubjectTangerine1561 [link] [comments]”

“Hello, I had a block that was scheduled for 07/04. When I arrived 15 minutes before my block was scheduled to start, the warehouse was closed. There was a sign at the door stating that this would not impact our standing & we would still be paid for the block. Multiple flex drivers showed up for their block as well. I contacted Amazon customer service and was told I needed to wait until 30 minutes after my scheduled block & ensured me again, that the block would still be paid out regardle”

“I been seeing post of people saying they was rejected the first few times or even some saying it took 8 months my account was deactivated due to me scheduling blocks and missing them I missed about 9 before they terminated me I also had 4 late blocks and 17 undelivered packages (I dropped them off to an employee who said they would scan them in) but the next day I was reinstated submitted by /u/Warm-Assistance723 [link] [comments]”

“If the parking lot was the stage, the group chats were the control room. There were multiple chats-some quiet, some wild, all full of opinions. Some chats were about routes and surges. Some were just for venting. Some turned into drama hotlines. New drivers would get discussed before they even finished their first block. People would share screenshots of waitlist times, block offers, and even pay. Drivers compared everything: Who got paid more, Who got better routes, Who was "gaming the sys”

“What happened DTP3? This station was the best in the area, by far. The associates used to scan your license, have carts ready, you get your route and take off. The last few times I have been there, the routes were not ready, two times I had to wait over half an hour for them to get a route for me (dozens of other drivers were there yelling etc.) before we could load and leave. Fast forward a few weeks to now - you can still check in 15 minutes early, but they just scan your license and stage you”

“When you show up ready to work and the doors are closed you expect to work so…yeah it’s legit to expect to be paid when the other party doesn’t fulfill their side of a contract. Nothing amazing here.”

r/AmazonFlexDrivers

“No no. You keep calling and keep pushing forward until you get paid. ESPECIALLY when it’s stated already that YOU WILL be paid! Otherwise it’s theft of time and you were already promised IN WRITING you would be getting paid. No take backsies. You cannot control why the station was closed no matter what the reason is. No keep pushing to talk to someone or threat legal action because them not paying you when they already stated they would is called wage theft and refusing to pay after they already”

r/AmazonFlexDrivers

“Did you go into help and select the station is closed option? I’ve never had this happen just curious is you did and they’re not paying attention”

r/AmazonFlexDrivers

“Sometimes it takes multiple emails and the hope that it goes to someone else. I've only had one occasion when, ultimately, the didn't pay me after everything. But I've never had an occasion where I've only had to email once.”

“I’m also waiting for a block I had scheduled the morning of June 5th. Warehouse was closed and employee parking lot empty. About 50 drivers in line to an empty warehouse. I received the typical “can’t confirm payment at this time,” but after 48hrs I’m still waiting for an update. No payment yet.”

“Im going through the same thing. I had a block for Sunday 330am and the station was closed 50 plus cars waiting support to use we could all leave after through 30min mark and they would send the ticket over. Today I got generic email saying it would not affect my standing so I reached out to support again saying my issue isn't about standing its sbout payment I also email Andy @ amazon.com which is the escalation teams email.”

r/AmazonFlexDrivers

“That’s reassuring. I was about ready to give up too thinking this is not worth the hassle but your post inspired me to keep trying 😂”

r/AmazonFlexDrivers

“Gotta keep contacting support. My warehouse had a power outage they where turning everyone away saying call support. I did they said they made a note and I'd get paid. 2 days later still not paid. I contacted again and they said there was nothing they could do next time remember to scan in....I said they had no power! Then said there's nothing I can do. Later that day I contacted them yet again and they said they'd make a ticket. I let it go thinking it's too much of a headache t”

“Will do! What’s actually interesting is I received what looks like an automated email stating that it was an unexpected situation beyond my control and as a one time exception they will remove the issue from my delivery history. The weird thing is though, I have been checking my stats and so far I don’t see anything to indicate the July 4th batch negatively impacted my standing. Very strange.”

r/AmazonFlexDrivers

“Watch your standings and make sure they didn't "no show" you.”

r/AmazonFlexDrivers

“Your pictures of the door of the warehouse being closed is enough. If you can I would go the extra mile to screen record or screenshot the timestamp of when the photo was taken. It shouldn’t have to go that far but sometimes you have to do the littlest of things to make them see.”

“Yes this is the first time I have ever had an issue with this. One time I showed up and the warehouse did have workers there but they didn’t have any of the stuff ready. They still paid out the full block. Another time I was compensated in full for a delivery I was unable to complete. I was sent all the way out to the boonies and had no service. I managed to deliver the first half of the them but the further out I got on my route the app would not work at all. And I got frustrated so I called th”

“Something's not right. Anytime a station was closed when I arrived for a block, whether it was a system issue, late trailers, or a holiday, I was always compensated. I wonder why they're not paying you?”
