“It literally doesn't look even remotely similar to it though. This would be true if you saw black/dark green mould growing on your ceiling cornices, but not little white fungus circles in a car that are almost undoubtedly either mildew, penicillium, or aspergillus.”
“I would say it's artillery fungus but I don't think it's that color. But it may be a different one. That shit sucks.”
“Actually I’m not wrong. Has been confirmed from motors, paint companies and some insurance companies. But you can believe what you want.”

“This is not true. While the spores might remain, they will not be active. The white mould on the dash is not harmful, it looks nothing like Stachybotrys chartarum. It will not return if the car is thoroughly extraction cleaned and the source of moisture intrusion is located.”
“If you remove the conditions thst caused the mould, it will not return. The fearmongering over fungal growth in this thread is insane. The pictures OP posted don't look even remotely like the "toxic" Stachybotrys chartarum (black mold) that everyone loves to throw a fit over.”

“Looks like artillery fungus to me. Nasty stuff. Here ya go.... this link identies the options you have for getting rid of artillary fungus. If you use Bug Remover, there are hundreds available. Stoner's Tar and Bug Remover would be my recomendation for a product available at basically every box store in America.”
“Do you have a tree of heaven where you park? My buddy has the same black spots on his car from a neighbor's tree. That tree attracts lanternflies and they shit black stuff. They're an evasive species not local to North America. The news report said it's mold caused by the bugs.”

“What tools/setup are you using? Specially the vacuum and extractor. Looks amazing!”
“The idea is to clean the tire without moving too much bloom and then put a dressing on it I honestly think that's what they came out with is to cover up inperfections. I know it's not but”
