“approx 3 year old european cat, male and neutered. normal weight, no history of these symptoms as far as i know. About 30 minutes ago i heard my cat puking (which happens from time to time, not an alarming rate i think about once a week) so i didn't really worry about that. a few minutes later he started meowing very loud and i noticed he couldn't move his hind legs very well anymore, he's "stuck" lying down, and he pooped all over. he started hyperventilating later, maybe”

We are always home and have plenty of carpet and no stairs. the day we brought him home he was getting aggressive with his tail. He was savagely attacking it. Like a fireball rolling around the house. He tore the tip of it up and we took him to the vet. “My cat has been unable to walk normally for the past two days. She is limping on her left leg. We took her to the vet, and an X-ray was done. The vet said there was no fracture or visible problem with her leg. The vet told us that she was constipated and prescribed paraffin oil. Since then, she has mostly been sitting down and does not want to walk or stand up. Today, I also noticed a small amount of blood in her stool. “Hi all. I'd just like to preface that I have been to the vet, but unfortunately, we haven't been able to diagnose the issue. She's had blood work done, all normal levels. They said that since she didn't seem to be in pain and they couldn't feel anything wrong with her, it would be best to just give it some time and see what happens. So I'm coming here to see if anyone has ever seen a condition like this or something similar. She's about a year and a half old, spayed,”

“My cat is 6 years old and about two weeks ago started having short episodes, about every three days, during which she sometimes fell over to the side while sitting or was walking as if she had nausea. During the episodes, which last a few minutes, she crouches down and paws at the air. after about a minute or two her tail starts flicking but she seems to return to normal. Here are four videos of the episodes. After the first three times that this happened we got blood exams which I am also attac”

So my cat went outside as usual, but when he returned, we noticed a sudden change. He completely stopped jumping down from surfaces, and instead chooses climb down very cautiously. We suspected he might have fallen and lost his confidence. There is no visible injury on him. Then for almost a week now, his condition suddenly worsen. He has now developed physical stiffness a”

“I have an approx 6 month old kitten who just had surgery a little over a day ago and she had an IV put in her leg. We noticed when we got home that she had strength in the top part of her leg but no movement in the bottom half of her leg and her paw. I'm not sure if something happened with the IV and if a nerve was hit but I don't know if it'll get better over time. I wanted to see if this is normal and if it'll improve over time and when to get in touch with our vet if it doesn’”

“I noticed my 12 year old female cat (13.3lbs) was gradually sleeping more, eating less, missing routines, and acting like she was in pain. While brushing her, I felt that her left hind leg was significantly enlarged. She is very fluffy so it was not noticeable visually and she doesn’t normally let me touch her legs. I took her to the vet the same day and, after feeling the leg, my vet suggested it was soft tissue and likely feline injection site sarcoma. This is the site where the office used to”

“Hi all, Ab out a month ago my cat went for her first round of vaccines and was lethargic for a few days, but ultimately bounced back. She basically slept for two whole days. When she went for the second round at the beginning of this month (Oct, 1st), she came back and was seemingly acting the same. However, it’s been 6 days now and while she has perked up (quick head movements, purring, etc), she is still walking quite slowly, has a decreased appetite, and is bailing on a lot of her jumps. “Age: 9 years old My cat has been very healthy in the 6 years we’ve had her aside from one ear infection. We just went to the vet for her annual on Friday and they said she looks great. On Monday, she was jumping onto a ledge in the kitchen and kind of missed/slipped and needed to pull herself up. After, I noticed a pretty decent limp on the right front leg. No dragging her foot, holding it up, or anything like that just not putting much weight on it. Otherwise acting normally, eating, and wantin”

“Hello, a couple days ago a stray kitten showed up at my house and I brought her in. She's limping on the back left leg. She can put weight on it, run around and jump, doesn't seem lethargic or anything. But when I touch the leg, it's very floppy and the toes don't extend when I gently squeeze her paw. She doesn't seem to be in any discomfort or pain, there's no swelling or open wounds. She can scratch her ear with the paw too. It's nice and pink like her other paws. W”

After, she had a curved back, is limping, and sleeping most of the day every day. She does have mild spondylosis in T11 and T12. No previous history of any Urinary tract issues, heart, bowel are all fine. He is indoor outdoor, and walks around our yard, and this evening was on the deck. He’s holding the leg completely up in the air when he walks and won't put any weight on it at all. Here are the details: The Leg: Non-weight-bearing. He meows if we gently touch that part of his leg, so it's definitely painful. I checked with a white tissue and didn't see any blood, open wounds, or obvious swelling yet. “This past Thursday (24 SEP 2026), my sister used clippers to remove the air from the hind legs of our pet cat, and I think she over did it. Ever since then, the gait of the pet cat has been wobbly and unsteady. Prior to the clipping, the pet cat would be able, with one leap, jump on top of the kitchen table. Now, the pet cat can't and is hesitant and looks depressed. Also, it's appetite, which was once vigorous, has decreased along with its fluid intake. According to Veterinarian Gemini”

“I have seen lots of posts reccomending Cosequin for cats with early signs of joint pain. My cat is 14/15 and is starting to slow down and miss her jumps onto my bed. My vet has not been able to determine if it is joint pain or if she's starting to lose some of her vision. I would go talk to them but it's midnight and I am going down a rabbit hole and am hoping the internet can provide some insight before I purchase... They reccomended an injection once a month in case it was joint pain,”

I’ve trimmed his nails (just in case they were too long and causing him discomfort) and thoroughly checked for any damage, but unfortunately, I found nothing. “Hi vets, My 13 years old cat has diabetes, her treatment (Senvelgo) made her lose a ton of weight (although eating enough/a lot). She's very skinny now, I feel all her bones, but she's stable and her lab results are really, really good for her age. Other than the med, the vets (2 different ones) didn't find a reason for her weight loss. Now, she's fine and all, but as I said she's very skinny. Also, due to an ultrasound from when she was 4 years old, her belly hair never grew”

“Hi there. I recently took my 15 year old siamese to the vet, she is doing well and quite mobile. Bloodwork and urine samples are all healthy, but she is starting to have muscle loss in her back and hind legs. She has put on weight successfully in the past and is at a stable 9lbs right now, but her vet recommended this supplement to help rebuild some of that muscle loss and help her mobility especially as she ages. I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews so I was curious what another vet would recommend”

She wore leg braces as a kitten which helped correct the deformity somewhat but she still cannot walk properly and slides on her belly most of the time without braces or splints. We took him to the vet twice now for steroid shots, which seemed to help for a couple weeks but the limp has come back again. Due to this along with the diabetes he’s had some muscle atrophy in his hind legs. While the vet did assure me the diabetes is treatable, my main concern is not really ability to treat these conditions but the fact he is a highly anxious cat. Gave her loxicom and gaba under their instruction as she had a bit of swelling on her hocks. O”
