“Apparently, OpenAI turned the warmth setting up to 9000 and accidentally dropped the entire model into a vat of honey. I liked it for about 5 minutes. It's so fucking annoying 😂 Made this in honor of everyone who's been aggressively loved by GPT-6 against their will.”

“Every time I get comfortable with a model, it gets tuned, tweaked, or replaced. I just want to settle in and get work done. Now Sol 6.1 is the recommended version, and it’s lazy and generic. It mostly echoes back what I say, won’t do the work unless I nudge it over and over, and…”

“I still get confused about the new model names, isn't 6 Sol the newest/best (meant to be) model? Why is it so bad?”

Several users express disappointment with a perceived decrease in ChatGPT's quality, citing issues like jokes not being funny and overall reduced functionality. Some blame OpenAI’s choices regarding models and usage limits.

“Every time I get comfortable with a model, it gets tuned, tweaked, or replaced. I just want to settle in and get work done. Now Sol 6.1 is the recommended version, and it’s lazy and generic. It mostly echoes back what I say, won’t do the work unless I nudge it over and over, and then tells me what it should have done instead of doing it. Getting from one step to the next is a fight. I’m tired of paying to beta test products while my workflows get pulled out from under me every couple of weeks. W”

“It's confirmed. OpenAI has been secretly replacing Astra with increasingly shit models since release. My evidence is overwhelming. Three Reddit comments, a benchmark that fluctuated 4%, and a guy who said the model felt different after he asked it the same question seventeen times. Yesterday Astra completed a complicated task. Today it misunderstood something I said. The only reasonable explanation is that Sam Altman personally intervened and redirected my requests to a lobotomized hamster r”

“Yesterday I was using sol 6.1 max as always but it was considerably slower than normal latency it has. and today I read a news that they rolled out ultra fast sol model:| I'm not trying to speculate too much, does anyone has seen similar things to happen? submitted by /u/Mysterious_Pea_4042 [link] [comments]”

“My 20x plan's quota seems to have already been cut since its renewal on 2nd october and I used to use astra high as manager and Luna max 5.6 as executor but this same combination does not work anymore. Luna max 6 is literally unusable and even though Tibo declares it has the same intelligence, it just performs way worse for my use case compared to 5.6 for my tasks which requires multiple tool usage and api calls. I tried Astra high with sol 6.1 medium but the weekly quota is nearly burnt on”

“Hi everyone, after the release of GPT-6, the models are literally worse. They do whatever they please and reply endlessly. In a few conversations, I’ve noticed the model focusses more on easy things and for complex ones, it simply explains in a few words. Are you stupid? I use it to learn complex information and it just explains the easy part. I’ve seen multiple Reddit posts claiming GPT-6 is just GPT-5.6 Terra, so I switched to GPT-5.6 Sol but even that looks degraded now. I think today’s compa”

“Using Astra for roleplay seems crazy to me, it uses up so much of your allotment per message. I feel like Sol high or extra high can write just as well for much less cost”

“I’ve been losing the will with 5.6 Sol over the last few weeks, constantly getting ‘Streaming Interrupted’ messages mid analysis when crunching numbers for optimal builds for a game I play. I was excited hearing that Astra had big updates and improvements with this type of work, so decided to jump into work mode in a project and test it out using 6.0 Medium on Plus account. Not sure how it’s possible but it seems to be WORSE than Sol for streaming interruptions, but also following project instru”
