“Hi everyone, I'm planning to establish a delivery fleet company in the UAE and want to work with platforms such as Talabat, Careem, Deliveroo, Keeta and Noon . For anyone currently operating a delivery fleet or working directly with these platforms: what is the minimum number of riders required to start as a fleet partner with each platform? I'm only looking for the actual minimum rider requirement (e.g. 10, 25, 50, 100, etc.), not general rider requirements. If the minimum differs by pl”

“I currently work in food delivery on an e-bike. I'm thinking about using this period of my life to learn some useful skills that could help me in career/business/life in general. I have some free time while I wait for orders at restaurants and also I can listen to something while riding to a client or restaurant. I've already thought about improving my English, but I haven't found the most efficient way to do it yet. If you were in my position, how would you use your free time during”
“Hey gang, I'm gonna be starting bike deliveries in Vancouver and I was wondering if anyone can give me some tips/tricks, what are your distances like, average $/hr, or anything else you'd think would be helpful. TIA! submitted by /u/Past_Hope6127 [link] [comments]”
“I was looking at the range of both vans and distance per charge and I'm not sure if these vans would cut it, minimum you would need to charge once or twice a day. submitted by /u/BoundinBob [link] [comments]”

“Anyone here DoorDashing with an E-bike? What are some of the challenges you are facing? Is it worth it? I need to make extra cash so I can pay off debt. A friend of mine is giving me their Ebike bc they’re moving and don’t want to bring it with them. I figured it’s soo much easier to maneuver around town with it than a car sitting in traffic. Yes you can be at the mercy of a restaurant but I’m not killing gas, or adding unnecessary wear to a whole car that would cost more down the line. I get it”
“I heard stuff like don't accept anything under 7$. But don't know the limit or minimal of distance to take for that. I hear people say 2-4$ per mile.... Shoot for diamond... cherry pick etc etc. These past few days in my area all the orders have been bad. On uber. I don't even know what to do when we have periods like this. Go to a different area? Use a different app? What if it's bad on all the apps cause that happens to. I really want to maximize my profits at all times.”
“Have an e-bike and don’t mind using it to make some extra income. Doordash is horrible wage wise, any recommendations to any bike delivery jobs???? submitted by /u/Alone_Couple6108 [link] [comments]”

For people who currently do deliveries in the SF/Bay Area: Is delivering by **car** safe and worth it? Would an **e-bike** be a better option in San Francisco? Which one gives you better earnings after expenses like gas, insurance, maintenance, etc.? Is finding parking a major problem when delivering by car? Are there specific areas/neighborhoods wher”
“I just got an e-bike to do food delivery because I live in a dense area and I'm wondering if it's still horrible pay like I'm reading lately on this space. Has anyone here done a stretch in car then on e-bike or scooter who can comment on the difference in the pay rate? I was imagining it'd be a lot more deliveries completed per hour due to not having to park specifically, plus more profitable due to saving gas submitted by /u/iberonni [link] [comments]”
“Any planners here have any direct experience with drone delivery stations? We have a major retailer proposing one in our jurisdiction that would be flying 83 lb drones with up to 5 lb payloads, seven pads. It would be located in an industrial area, so the launch station is in a good spot. I'm curious to hear what nuisance issues might be involved. Thanks. submitted by /u/Coffee_24-7 [link] [comments]”

“Hi everyone, I’m currently working in transport and looking to specialize into medical and pharma deliveries (GDP/ADR). My ultimate goal is to go ZZP with my own conditioned (reefer) van, but I could really use some honest advice from people already in the field! Online sources quote generic courier rates around €25–€35/hr, which barely covers overhead once you factor in reefer lease, fuel, NIWO, and insurance. However, I often hear proper pharma transport pays closer to €45–€60+/hr due to the s”
“I have an electric mini bike classified as a moped, and I’d like to try using it for deliveries to save on gas. I welcome any advice on the matter, and I’m especially interested in hearing what equipment is the best. Amazon only had a couple recommendations, and they don’t look impressive. Do yall use backpacks? Mount a box? How do drinks hold up? Thank you! submitted by /u/busyfren [link] [comments]”
“I was surprised to discover not long ago that Uber does Uber Freight deliveries, like Uber Courier but for drivers with big rigs. Based on my experience with Uber in general, this is exactly what I assume Uber Freight deliveries look like. 😂 submitted by /u/CeruleanDragon [link] [comments]”

“Hi, I am new to NYC but not new to being a food courier. I have three years of experience as a Doordasher back when I had a car. I also just got approved to deliver with Lalamove. I sold my car when I moved her and now I have an old used bicycle that gets around town ok but doesn't have a bike rack. I am considering investing in an e-bike rental through Whizz (or any other company) or using CitiBike's e bike. Does anyone have any advice? submitted by /u/Equivalent_Peace_756 [”
“Hi all. First time posting here so I’m sorry I’m in the right spot. I couldn’t find a specific air courier community to post in. I have joined an air courier company and I was chatting with one of the dispatchers today and I asked him for tips of the trade and what the pros do. He mentioned that some of the veterans have a duffel bag and check that in order to consolidate boxes along with packing air tags as well. So for those of you who do this and carry a duffel bag, do you have any recommenda”

App? My uncle works, and his battery is slow in charging, which kills his time. I would buy another one for him, but it like a risk. If the bike falls, the battery could get damaged and leak. “Hi everyone, I’m looking for some honest feedback from people who spend their days on the road. Whether you’re a courier, delivery driver, Amazon DSP driver, FedEx driver, UPS driver, field service engineer, tradesperson, or anyone running multi-stop routes, I’d love to know: If you could design the perfect route planning app, what would your top 10 features be? “Looking to start a bicycle-based delivery (route-based and point-to-point) service and need your advice on which e-bike I should use for the "fleet". We will be carrying bulk parcel orders (hundreds of pounds) to/from the micro-warehouse downtown using cargo trailers for large batched orders and just the cargo ebike (without the trailer) for small orders point-to-point. Upfront cost is a big factor, which is why we aren't doing a custom e-trike with a built-in cargo box to start ou”
“Hey, I'm a visual design student from germany writing my bachelor's thesis about the job of delivery drivers and the parts of the work that hardly anyone notices. I'd really like to know how it actually works: Who decides how fast you have to be? What comes up every day that the plan doesn't account for? What happens to the parcels you can't deliver on your route? What would need to change for the job to work better? A short comment is totally fine. If you'd rather go int”
