“Hey all, long time lurker, first real post here. I keep struggling with where the line is on yield. A 2% yielder growing 15% a year is clearly a different thing from a 6% yielder with flat revenue and a payout ratio heading toward 90%. But I can't put a number on where each…”
“I never see anyone here discussing midstream companies specifically WES. They have a fairly constant dividend growth and yield almost 8%. I've owned it for a while anyone else here find it attractive?”
“Hey guys, I am surprised I did not see these mentioned much - These are Brazilian bank tickers -- VIV ITUB and BBD. Monthly payers, yield for example.of ITUB is 6% or so, 37% Price appreciation YTD and in a minor dip at this moment. Is there severe tax implications here? Some…”

“I've been thinking about something that I don't see discussed enough in dividend investing. Look at where yields stand right now: 10-year US Treasury: 5.09% SCHD: 3.24% trailing distribution yield S&P 500: roughly 1.1% dividend yield as of Q2 That is a pretty significant gap.…”
“Any thoughts on this great start you think it's worth having in the long run or just going through trouble I think just had earning today called Lvmh/Lvmuy? They pause they dividend Growth I think for about 3 years, which is not too good but it happens. submitted by /u/radencnc [link] [comments]”

“Hey everyone. Want some numbers from RL. I am close to $750 per month in dividends with a yield around 3.1%. Wanted to know how long it took to get to 2k or 4k in monthly dividend. I can do the math but wondering if the snowball will show up and help out too. submitted by /u/Vegetable-Exam4355 [link] [comments]”
“UPS hit 7% dividend yield at $93 and 12 Forward PE. How much more is UPS going to decline for the next 2 years? Is this a good buy opportunity or heading to $85? submitted by /u/Terrible_Attempt_226 [link] [comments]”
“I never thought I'd see this kind of dividend yield but here we are. If this stock recovers to just $45 dollars from today's price that's close to 30% upside and 5% yearly dividend while I wait. I'm adding some. Great brand! Great products at fair to high price. What d y'all think? Don't tell me China this China that. In third world countries like Communist Chyna they see brands like Nike as a status symbol. Rich people in third world countries will continue to buy, espec”

“Hey folks, came across this X post earlier, which showed this Dividend ETF actually outperforming the FTSE All World over the period show. That performance is before the 3% dividend yield, is my understanding... Looks like it has a developed world, quality and dividend filter. Is this a smart product for a rocky geopolitical outlook and a potential AI earnings bubble? Anyone follow or own this one? submitted by /u/InvestingFred [link] [comments]”

A 2% yielder growing 15% a year is clearly a different thing from a 6% yielder with flat revenue and a payout ratio heading toward 90%. But I can't put a number on where each stops being worth it. So,how do you guys think about dividends in general — real part of your return thesis what yield do you accept for growth names vs. steady dividend/income names vs. deep-value cigar-butt type stuff?”
“MZTI is a Dividend King. And yet, in the last 20 years, the yield has approached 4% only twice: during the financial crisis... and now. That usually gets my attention. submitted by /u/Claudiu-ROINVEST [link] [comments]”
“Hi all. I'm the GM of the stock business at Obermatt. We run a rules-based ranking system that scores stocks 1 to 100 against their industry peers across Value, Growth, Safety, and Sentiment, including a Dividend Yield rank. This month I looked at the highest Dividend Yield ranks in the US and Canada. A rank of 100 means the yield sits at the top of a company's peer group, not that the yield itself is large. Two names made it that shouldn't be read as income opportunities. Canfor, th”

“WTRG is merging with AWK in 2027. I will receive 0.305 shares of AWK for each WTRG I own, plus my dividend will go down. It was known as Philadelphia Suburban when I started, then changed to Aqua America. then changed to Essential Utilities. I think the merger with AWK is a take under unless AWK goes up wildly in the next year. (It won't) WTRG just raised their quarterly dividend 5.25% to $0.3606 per share, up from the previous $0.3426 per share. The dividend is payable on September 1, 2026,”

“ET keeps coming up when I look at higher-income investments. The yield looks great, but I'm still trying to figure out how comfortable I'd be holding it long term. For those who own ET, has it been worth the higher income? submitted by /u/Training_Hair3293 [link] [comments]”
“I’m looking into dividend investing and trying to understand how people with experience here evaluate dividend stocks. My initial thought was to simply look for companies with the highest dividend yields, but I assume there’s considerably more to it than that?. For those who invest primarily for dividends, what criteria do you look at before buying? Doing my research I came across Conagra at 8.1% Yeild. Which I don’t know much about but can see UPS at 6.3% which I understand more as a business m”
“Why aren’t XLVI and XLUI mentioned more as good options? Just started this dividend train ride, have a little SCHD and SPYI, and noticed XLVI and XLUI. What am I missing? submitted by /u/bochy13 [link] [comments]”
“Thoughts on FSK? The company just reported earnings and seems to be improving after really taking a hit lately. The forward dividend yield could be about 14.8% and a NAV per share of 18.30 even though the share price is 11.88. the non accruals dropped to 3.8% on fair value. I heard they also have a share buy back program for this year and next. submitted by /u/Spark_710 [link] [comments]”

“I KEEP: ITC, Coal India 6-7%, PFC/REC 5-6%. Boring, but paid every year even in red markets. Low debt, consistent profit. I HOLD (don't chase fresh): Vedanta, Hindustan Zinc, ONGC, IOCL. Vedanta shows 8%+ yield but it's cyclical and debt-funded sometimes. Great if bought low, risky if you buy just for yield. My check now: paid 7/10 years? Payout <70%? Profit growing? If not, even 10% yield is a trap. I keep 30% portfolio in keep bucket for peace, not growth. submitted by /”

Monthly payers, yield for example.of ITUB is 6% or so, 37% Price appreciation YTD and in a minor dip at this moment. Is there severe tax implications here? Some quick googlong did not reveal much. “I initiated a modest position in ERIE after a meaningful pullback this year. ERIE has a 36-year track record of raising its dividend, currently yielding about 2.3%. Take a look and share your view on the pros and cons of this stock. submitted by /u/magicfitzpatrick [link] [comments]”
