“I’m 16 and I have been investing for a few years. I have always liked the idea of dividends. Recently I have been buying into PEP since they have a decent yield, just a few hundred dollars a month so I can grow my position and dividend. I think the market is too high right now which is why I have been buying PEP since it holds well during a bear market. I also have DRIP on! So why do most people suggest growth for young people? Also what would you do with your money if you were my age again? Tha”

“I recently started rebuilding my dividend portfolio after being out of the market for a while. Right now the dividend income is still small, but seeing it start to show up again is motivating. Did you focus on keeping it simple at first or did you add different income buckets early on? submitted by /u/Easy-Technology7819 [link] [comments]”

“Hi. As the title says, looking to create a 20 to 30 dividend growth stocks portfolio. Generally less than 2% yield but div cagr 10%+. Reason being is the UK doesn't really have div growth etfs, the etf here are mainly established div paying stocks with higher yield but lower cagr. Stock can be anywhere in the world but I think it'll end up mainly in the USA. Thoughts submitted by /u/Jaggajat1 [link] [comments]”

“Hi Dividend friends, I wanted to share my portfolio, I am expecting in total to get 15.6k of dividends this year in total pre-tax. I had posted my dividend portfolio here only once before, I think it was in 2023. I do read this forum altough I have a different strategy. Im in a high tax dividend country (30%), so in general I prefer 0% dividend tax countries, or my own country (Belgium). I do plan to move one day to a low-tax dividend country, so thats why I am building this portfolio, not as my”
“I was looking at my portfolio and these are probably my top 5 right now. A mix of dividend growth, quality companies, and some diversification. What are your top 5? Curious to see what everyone else is holding. submitted by /u/ExpressionFar7993 [link] [comments]”
“I’m thinking about simplifying my portfolio a bit. Right now my ETFs are SCHD, VTI, VIG and ARKK. I also hold individual stocks like JNJ, PG, WM, PEP, ABBV and HD, so I’m wondering if I’m making things more complicated than they need to be. Would you add any other ETFs here, or just keep it simple with what I already have? What ETFs would you consider? submitted by /u/Delicious-Log8086 [link] [comments]”
“Portfolio for the next 14 yrs before early retirement. Upon retirement holdings will be similar. 65% VTI / 25% VXUS / 5% AVUV / 5% AVDV That should give me a 10% SCV within a 70% US 30% international allocation. Leading up to retirement I’ll transition to a defensive sleeve most of which will be covered by a DROP account with 2.5% min returns and no upside limits. I’ll add some bonds in my other accounts but probably not more than 10%. Upon retirement I should be around a 70/30 allocation with m”
