“Is it me or does it feel like DoorDash intentionally fucks you occasionally? I can’t do EBT AT ALL. The option is there but no orders will ever come in, and from my experience that’s how I’ve always made it make sense on this app. Anyone else feel like they’re intentionally…”
“I received one order in the last 90 minutes and even though I accepted it, it quickly disappeared from the app. I’ve received no other offers since then, which is HIGHLY unusual for my area. Normally I don’t have to wait at all between offers, or at most, I have to wait a couple…”
“Is anyone else having an extremely slow day? I got one order this morning then it's been nothing. Saturdays are usually extremely busy for me with non stop orders but I'm guessing the hurricane has caused problems in my area. $3 promo running all day but still not a single order…”
DoorDash drivers are concerned about a recent drop in order volume, especially on Sunday nights during football season. Some have experimented with declining offers to improve their acceptance rate.

Normally I don’t have to wait at all between offers, or at most, I have to wait a couple of minutes. I’m guessing since no one else has posted about DD being down it’s just oddly slow in my area for some reason, but I thought I would just check to see if anyone else is having an issue. submitted by ”
“I usually get a couple dollars from grocery orders, but never a double zero lol. I'm not upset since DD actually gave me money. Just thought it was nuts on 2 grocery orders. submitted by /u/sdcar1985 [link] [comments]”
“Is anyone else having an extremely slow day? I got one order this morning then it's been nothing. Saturdays are usually extremely busy for me with non stop orders but I'm guessing the hurricane has caused problems in my area. $3 promo running all day but still not a single order for the last 2 hours. Available I assume it's to do with the hurricane but we weren't hit particularly bad and there's no power outages or flooding anywhere around here. Wondering if anyone else is ha”
“DISCLAIMER: I'm probably closer to 150 blocked customers than 100 at this point. This helps get rid of orders ending up below $1/mile. Now for this actual order: it was originally about $10 tip for 10 miles. 3ish further out to the restaurant, then 7 back. It ended up putting me about 1 mile from my stomping grounds. I get to the restaurant which has 2 floors, app says bottom floor. Go in, get told to go to 2nd floor. Go to 2nd, told to go to bottom floor. Bottom floor then tells me it only”
“I genuinely don't think I can complete 50 orders in my market in my typical driving windows in the next 3 days. I think I typically do 10 orders a shift (part time). I wonder if they'll count the Sunday 2x towards this goal. Ultimately it doesn't mater as I'm going to dash the same time anyway, but I suspect this will make taking the occasional $2 order acceptable to those who believe they can get the goal. 🤷♂️ Thoughts? submitted by /u/Responsible_Hat_3890 [link] &”
“nothing crazy but not too bad only accepting the orders I want. Acceptance rate and account status level definitely not the meta submitted by /u/pretty-baby812 [link] [comments]”
“That’s how Door Dash advertised it to me. Something about many orders & I should Dash. I guess they were right. There were a decent amount of offers. Just none worth taking. I took an almost two month break and this is what I returned to? lol. After 1 1/2hr of these offers I called it quits. Played a little Pokémon GO and headed back home. There were more lowball offers that I didn’t screenshot. submitted by /u/DontSweatTheBallStuf [link] [comments]”
“Is anyone else getting orders that are under $10 and over 5 miles that if you decline it will take your AR a full percent? submitted by /u/Archangel_Anthony [link] [comments]”
“Most of you are complaining and earnings…. Doordash is expected to report earnings October 4th. I’m thinking you’ll see an uptick in your earnings shortly before the earnings release. Let’s see 🎱! submitted by /u/Magnum_ripple [link] [comments]”
“I have been sitting in a hot spot for an hour to no orders, at what point do you guys just say screw it and end for the day? submitted by /u/SPerry8519 [link] [comments]”
“Hey all, I do live in a good sized city for a good amount of DD orders. However, this summer was really low volume. Back in the winter, Fridays and Saturdays were CRAZY and Sundays were mid. Then once summer hit, the weekends were dead. Which is understandable; everyone is out and about during nice weather. Now that football season started, I was thinking of giving Sunday nights another chance. I think I will go out tonight but not sure what time to go out. Kick off here for the evening games is”
“Just as the title reads. I went from an AR of 8 …. To 53. By declining offers. So I’ve always just used DD as a way to make a couple extra bucks for leisure activities and whatnot so I don’t put too much wear on the car and all that good stuff so my AR has typically always been around 16-7%. Varies based on the day and orders I’m receiving. So the other day I’d decided to turn on my dasher and was at an AR of 8. I’d declined the first 4 orders and had gotten to 12 and was confused as anyone woul”
