“You mean the notes that NO ONE reads, smh 🤦🏻‍♀️ I hate when management becomes so far removed from what we see and do on the daily that situations like this happen. [re: “In My Role I’ve Reported Licenses of Nurses to the BON.”]”

“Yeah, honestly, team dynamic seems kinda shitty that the manager can't just sit down with OP and sort of explain why or do any conflict resolution. Or at least one the seniors explaining why they're unhappy.”

“If I needed a tech and interviewed you I'd hire you on the spot based on that. You already know what you need to know your problem is your managers are shitty and are not supporting you. By sticking around you are allowing them to continue BSing and ass-kissing upper managers…”

“Everyone says they’d be a super hero yet none of these ppl ever end up in management. Either everyone in management is born evil or you guys get positions and then switch up.”

By sticking around you are allowing them to continue BSing and ass-kissing upper managers. If you quit and the house of cards collapses then they will get the firing that they need. “That I’m not sure about. I’ve done decent work for the company before moving to my new manager and team. I have a feeling they will either let me go or PIP me soon”

“I will sue Microsoft and go to media. I have been busting my ass. Let's see.”

“ye i mean i can only speak from my experience at meta, but these places raising to the skip is not a good idea. unless you have some political capital with the skip. they just have no reason to side with you and even if they show some compassion, your manager writes your perf review and these places stack rank. I think the outcome is a bit obvious.”

“I work remotely at Microsoft. Had a reorg and a new manager. He has his favorites and I am not one of them. We also had friction earlier in the year. Well he doesn't respond to me Teams messages; nor is he joining 1-1 syncs. If I need some approval he takes 2 days to approve and just messages "Done." He is like this with another team mate I spoke with who is also not in great books with him. I have never seen this type of management in my 10 years of experience. What am I missing?”
