“Hi guys, I own three fish tanks and there's two that I need help with. I feel like it would be better if I just swapped then so angelfish would feel more comfortable in higher and more open tank but here's the problem - I have no idea how am I gonna swap them. Tank on the left…”
“hi there! my family member decided getting a fish tank/fish as a decoration would be an amazing idea and unfortunately i am now stuck taking care of it. i'm a complete beginners and i got the topfin 6 gallon corner tank kit for the betta. i set it up normally, made sure to add…”
“First couple days it was inside the log latched onto the top. Then one night it moved and I haven’t been able to find it for several days now. I’ve pulled every decoration out and checked and he’s nowhere to be found. The tank has a lid so it could not crawl out, where could it…”
Aquarium keepers find fish, particularly larger ones, repeatedly getting trapped by tank decorations. One user's fish got stuck in a tree trunk and another’s fish gets stuck while trying to reach food.

“He’s been doing this several times a day. I have another cory in the tank. The tank is 200L 100x40x50. Could it be because they’re stressed from only being two? I’m going to be purchasing 4 more in a week or so. Ammonia and nitrites are at 0, nitrate is between 0-10 and I got them about a week ago. submitted by /u/Similar_Purpose_5398 [link] [comments]”
“I'm planning to make a small fish pond in a pot (a big one dw) and am wondering if the cycling process between a 20 gallon aquarium and a small fish pond that is outdoors is different seeing as wild animals will be able to access it. Also I really want to start cycling now but I won't have my water conditioner for a few more weeks, can you cycle with unconditioned water? And any other advice too will be appreciated submitted by /u/Impossible_Stand_104 [link] [comments]”
“As the title says. I managed to get a much bigger tank for an absolute steal and now I’m wondering how to transfer the fish to this tank without shocking them. Everything I’ve seen online, the tanks are similar in size. Any help would be massively appreciated! submitted by /u/JMEYNG [link] [comments]”
“So i recently bought a 75 gallon tank from Facebook Marketplace and it came with 7 electric blue crayfish, 1 albino rainbow shark, a big blue three spot gourami, a smaller gourami, 10 brochis corydoras, 1 black skirt tetra, 4 red tail penguin tetras (I think), and a giant danio, with a single panda Cory (parents already know). They agreed on me cleaning and setting up the tank, but after cleaning and putting it in my room they changed their mind and said I can’t set it up as “my current tanks ha”

I feel like it would be better if I just swapped then so angelfish would feel more comfortable in higher and more open tank but here's the problem - I have no idea how am I gonna swap them. Tank on the left is my peaceful shrimp tank(still in decoration rework) and recently little shrimp had hatched plus another one is preggo which is already making this plan difficult. On the right is my "predator" tank wit”
“Hi, I have basically no experience with taking care of an aquarium and I got this one for my birthday 3 days ago. I need advice for how to correctly care for it. I fell in love with the little fishy friends and want to make them as happy as possible. Basically when I got it it was freshly bought and filled and they put the fish in there just after like 30minutes of filling the tank and conditioning the water. It only had the substrate, rocks on the bottom, a few plants and the log shaped shelter”
“Hi all, Managed to get my girlfriend into fishkeeping and we’ve had an electric blue ram for a year which she picked. We’ve recently moved the fish from a 40L to a 250L tank. All fine, all other fish fine. Today the ram is in the corner, heavy breathing with a large poop or something hanging out. I’m unsure if it’s constipation or some form of infection and want to act fast. Can someone please help 😢 it’s breaking my heart submitted by /u/Ok_Supermarket_9162 [link] [comments]”
“Well,I bought it three months ago. I had to move the aquarium to another spot and checked it before setting it up again. This corner wasn't like this before. Is it even safe to use anymore? Has anyone had similar issues? submitted by /u/Reaminca [link] [comments]”
“What do I put in here? It's 8 gallons and was supposed to be for a betta fish but im worried the jungle val will cause it to get it's fins stuck So is there any other small beginner fish or shrimp to put in here other than a betta? It's also loaded with tannins and although I don't have a ph meter, it's likely that the water is acidic. Also I live in the Philippines. Most of the filtration comes from the jungle val, amazon swords and strictas since this is a dirted walstad ta”
“Idk why but my Plecostomus (idk the name in English) sometimes goes to the upper part of the tank, I have a filter and oxygen running, and by what I saw online they are very resistant to everything, the other fish in the tank are normal, I have a 100L tank and other 6 fish https://preview.redd.it/jt0j9pkxifhh1.jpg?width=3060&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=08d7e068015cfdc5840e657efcbb61db505a3de6 Someone help? submitted by /u/ayano_w_d [link] [comments]”

“I’ve been debating on getting on of those 3d printed hammocks with the little holes (most popular ones) but I’ve seen maybe two videos talking about how their betta got stuck in them and passed, but they’re still so popular. I’m unsure what to do. submitted by /u/wlkrlov3r [link] [comments]”
“I noticed this crack while doing a complete re scape of the tank. Don’t know how long it’s been there for. What should I do? My fish and plants are just sitting in a bucket. I can’t feel the crack on the inside or outside of the tank. I don’t want to risk putting water in it though. submitted by /u/cyb3r_clown [link] [comments]”
“This might be a silly question so please forgive me (the only fish I had was a goldfish as a teenager). I've ended up with a neon tetra (long story) there were more of them but they died so I'm looking to get another 5 at least as I know they're schooling fish. Anyway, upon research I've found the tank it is in (25 litre - apparently advised by the shop) is too small so I'm looking to upgrade to a 40 litre (if this is too small please let me know!) BUT I don't know the be”
“I feed my four corydoras every day. They are two inches long. I give them two sinking wafers. Am I not feeding them enough? I never actually see them feeding but the food vanishes when I'm not looking. They only come out when I'm not around. The shrimp have always been more friendly to me. This is my first tank, with my first animals. It's a 64 gallon tank, and the animals are otherswisw healthy. The local store I got them from did not say that this would happen. submitted by &”
“The first time was in the base of the tree, which I have since cut to avoid either of them getting stuck again. Both times were food related 😑 like chill dude, youre fed twice a day. Maybe just, don't? Got a good scrape but looks better than last time so I'm not overly concerned with it healing. submitted by /u/No-Tank-1123 [link] [comments]”
