“I got a lot of discoloration between the anti slip grooves. I tried general cleaner, bathroom cleaner and stronger ones. They usually work easily on my toilet and sink (i think they are the same material). I am not lazy to scrub, but i cant get rid of those. A few weeks ago i…”

“My shower/tub is super old. The caulk in the corners like behind my shower caddy pole gets mildewy/moldy (?) probably from water not draining as easily. The grout between my tiles is orange/brown in some spots. I took this after using Zep tub and shower, letting it sit, and…”

“Our 20 year old shower grout has some dark spots. In the past bleach would clear it up, it seems to have progressed beyond that where bleach doesn’t seem to do as much. Most of the spots are where the smooth side tile has grout joining it to the floor of the shower. Would…”

“Our 20 year old shower grout has some dark spots. In the past bleach would clear it up, it seems to have progressed beyond that where bleach doesn’t seem to do as much. Most of the spots are where the smooth side tile has grout joining it to the floor of the shower. Would spraying with peroxide be your suggestion? If successful, do we then try to seal the grout somehow to prevent this from happening regularly? When we finish showering, we set a fan by the shower door in hopes of drying it sooner”

“Recently bought a home and the shower looks like this. Any tips on how to clean it? Last photo is a reference of what the grout color looks like clean. I’ve tried black diamond grout cleaner with a stiff grout brush with some success but not perfect submitted by /u/Professional-Joke892 [link] [comments]”

“Hi pros out there! I have owned by 1967 ranch for two years and this stained area next to shower is my biggest challenge. My entire house is solid poured surface and in great shape, ( after removing carpet, tackstrips, laminate and vinyl and refinishing lol). Any suggestions where to start to try to lighten up? I have confirmed this is not moisture related. submitted by /u/Aggravating_Sky_1144 [link] [comments]”

“I’m not very sure what the material is, obviously it has the look of tile but is there a fo-tyle material? I showed the edge of it in the second photo What products should I be using to not leave marks like this? When it’s wet it’s not noticeable. Thank you for any help! submitted by /u/Stagnant_Water24 [link] [comments]”

They usually work easily on my toilet and sink (i think they are the same material). I am not lazy to scrub, but i cant get rid of those. A few weeks ago i soaked some clothes with detergent in there, and it somehow caused the clean spots in the photo. But i couldn't replicate it, and I guess there is a better/right way. Anyone got some tips, what else i could try? s”

“i’ve been passionately (maybe obsessively) deep cleaning everything in my mothers home for her and certain spots have been untouched for 10+ years. ive managed to get all dirt, buildup, dust etc. from everywhere except these stupid tub lines!! they’re a lot more pronounced irl than in photos, and i’m guessing it’s some type of soap scum but no household cleaning product stands a chance against it. any advice? what do i need to buy? submitted by /u/Candid_Selection427 [link] [co”

“I’m pretty positive we need to strip and replace the old caulk. But in the meantime is there anyway to get rid of this orange coloring/build up in our shower? We bought our house last year and have to slowly replace things. I’ve attempted scrubbing in various ways but need some suggestions! submitted by /u/Poko-Dotted [link] [comments]”

“I’ve lived in this house for 2.5 years and haven’t been able to get this shower floor clean 🤨😤 I’ve scrubbed so much! And tried quite a few products. What can help remove the persistent gunk that sticks to the edges of the texturing on the shower floor? Also the yellowing on the caulk strip? submitted by /u/Low-Collection-6325 [link] [comments]”
