“So for weeks now I have been having carpenter ants in the house, its only a few a day that I see, its never trails or in the same area, its like 2-5 and they are just generally in random spots each time. I can't find anything that indicates where they are coming from, I haven't…”
“For about 2ish years, you can hear the nails/claws of an animal scratching around in what seems to be coming from underneath the stair landing of my townhouse. It isn’t constant but whenever there’s commotion or the neighbors dogs bark, that’s when this scratching is activated…”
“I can hear a mouse somewhere in the corner of my room. I’ve already put away any loose food and set up traps, but this noise is really driving me crazy. Does anyone have any tips or know if mice can get inside heaters? It sounds a bit too loud to just be coming from the wall, I…”

“In the UK in a semi-detached house, in the suburbs next to an oak tree. Have heard scratching from points in living room wall over summer and some scuttling in the roof but assumed birds. Over the weekend spotted a mouse inside for first time…”
“Clicking(?) noises from my laundry room? Tempo is weirdly consistent. I think maybe something is entering from the dryer vent and it’s now in the hose. After hearing some sounds last week, pest control checked the room and didn’t find anything, including droppings. They figured that something had made its way into my dryer vent hose. They saw that my dryer vent outside wasn’t closing properly and cleaned it. That night, I did a load of laundry and didn’t hear anything. I was gone for a few days”
“My household has recently been infested with mice. A few weeks ago, my dogs caught a mouse out in our shop and we truly thought that was the end of it. About a week later, I saw a mouse jump out of the cabinet area near one of my dogs beds. We put out traps and caught two more mice that same night. Since then we’ve seen one other mouse and plenty of mouse poop in the most random areas. Tonight, I was awoken by my dog trying to get behind a little shelving unit I have in my room (basically a two”

I can't find anything that indicates where they are coming from, I haven't seen any saw dust anywhere, I can't seem to get a hold of how they are making their way in. I've sprayed suspend polyzone around on my foundation, and around doors and windows, and either my bottle of susp”
“Hi all, I had a drilling and dusting service (ditrac) done a week ago for an unknown animal in my bedroom wall. At the time, I was mostly only hearing the animal in that spot. However, tonight I’ve heard it in multiple spots in the house and even down on the first floor. Is this common after ditrac treatment or is this a bad sign? submitted by /u/kimboferg [link] [comments]”
“So a little over a week ago I saw a mouse on the landing of my steps hiding under a jacket. I put out traps and did not catch anything, but was unsure of the attic since I had never been up there (it freaks me out, don’t judge me). I ended up calling an exterminator after my mom told me the insulation in the attic looked different than it had before (6 years ago). They confirmed there were mice droppings in the attic and said “it looked like they were trying to nest” and put traps up there. The”
“For about 2ish years, you can hear the nails/claws of an animal scratching around in what seems to be coming from underneath the stair landing of my townhouse. It isn’t constant but whenever there’s commotion or the neighbors dogs bark, that’s when this scratching is activated. I think it’s harmless as there is no sight of the critters or their droppings. However, it can be annoying since the couch is directly behind where I’m standing in the photo. We’ve had a history of rats in the area (backy”
“I live in a large split level house. I occupy the 3rd/4th floors. We noticed a mouse around 2 months ago, we immediately packed up all of our food and make sure to keep the kitchen where it was clean and free of food. It was quiet for a few weeks, but in the last 2 weeks we've had activity every day. We did actually catch one on a very old cockroach trap but it was small and looked like a baby. We've set out 2 different types of snap traps and the Tom cat sticky traps. I've watched t”
“Please help, just moved in this house less than a year ago after full house renovation. I can hear them running around since last month and was confused how they got in after fixing everything outside. I placed a few traps in the attic and got 3 rats in the first week but now it is no longer working, I can see the baits partially eaten so I guess they figured it out. I'm planning to hire a pest control company to do an assesment of the situation but I had a bad experience with a pest control”

“Is it coming up from the cracks between the stones? If so, I would think something small like insects or maybe mice. You might want to pull up a stone and check underneath.”
“What is this sound that the mice are making? I know the food steps, their breathing, chewing, but there is almost heart beating type of sound. Where can I post the video? submitted by /u/wellisntthatspecial9 [link] [comments]”
“I have carpenter ants coming through the seam of my staircase and the wooden exterior of the corner of my house the last two days. They are also coming from under the railing post on the same stairs. I have also noticed some in the garden bed and path beside the staircase. There are no ants in the house that I can see at this time. We did have some work done in our basement the last two days so I don’t know if I stirred up a nest? What should I do to fix this problem? Should I rip out the wooden”
“I’m newer to the pest control industry, and every time I have to do a bed bug, or a roach treatment, I get very anxious about possibly bringing bugs home. I check my clothing and mist my boot covers after the jobs, but I still get nervous about it. For the long time pest control guys, how do you ensure you don’t bring bugs home with you? submitted by /u/AtticusxD [link] [comments]”
“These egg looking things have randomly started showing up in one specific spot on the floor of a bedroom. Off yellowish, with black dot on one end. Location northwestern Pennsylvania. Penny for size. Any help identifying would be appreciated. submitted by /u/TheHeftyG [link] [comments]”
“I hate pantry months so much. I can’t get rid of them. All of the food is in containers. There’s not a bag in here. I have emptied this cabinet and sprayed it so many times in the past few years but they keep coming back. I put the sticky traps all the way across the door at the level of the shelf so they can’t go between the shelves. There is zero evidence of them except on the sticky traps. I just heard about trichogramma wasps so I might have to find those. submitted by /u/tobyvan”
