“I think the worst part of cleaning is having to clean everything I just used. My regular vacuum gets hair wrapped around the brush, and emptying the dustbin always makes a mess. My steam mop needs descaling, and then there's the dirty mop pad to wash. I bought a robot vacuum a few years ago, I ended up pulling hair out of the brush, washing the mop pads, and scrubbing the dock. At this point I just want something that cleans the floors without giving me another cleaning job afterward. What a”

“Hey friends! Can anyone recommend a mop for hard surfaces that isn’t complete garbage? I’ve found Swiffer mops disappointing and I already have a floor steamer. Even one of the basic old-school sponge mops with the wringer would be great, if I could get one that doesn’t have the stupid, useless scrubber brush mounted to the head of the mop. As a side note, I do not understand how vacuum cleaners have gotten exponentially better over the past few decades while mops have gotten worse. Any and all”

“Maybe I’m using it wrong, but it barely cleans the floor. An actual mop/steam mop does so much more. Am I missing something here? submitted by /u/BrainOne5224 [link] [comments]”

“Hi everyone, I suffer from chronic pain, in most of my back. I was wondering if anyone in a similar situation has encountered anything that makes cleaning easier? Scrubbing and reaching are the bane of my existence (I do physio but it’s not enough to make up for this). I’ve found that if I let vinegar sit, it requires a bit less force in scrubbing. I also use a duster thing with a long pole for baseboards, ceilings, blinds. I’m considering getting a roomba. Feel free to suggest anything that mak”

“Can someone recommend me a relatively inexpensive but decent quality steam cleaner that is small, has a wand and could be used on upholstery like couches and car seats? I want the wand for things like counters and stoves. Appreciated! 🙏 submitted by /u/essence_love [link] [comments]”

“Like how are we supposed to clean the floor. I vacuum, and the best I came up with is Dawn spraying foam + wipe it with a towel that I definitely didn’t get from a truck stop. Asking for a friend who misses the bottle when pissing . EDIT : Learned that Dawn leaves a film if not rinsed with water afterwards. Literally didn’t know it was a thing before today. submitted by /u/bizzywhipped [link] [comments]”

“I’m pretty lazy when it comes to cleaning, so anything that saves me a step is a win.Mine is probably my hard floor washer. I used to vacuum, then go back over everything with a mop. Now I just pick up the bigger stuff and do the floors once. It also has this little ozone thing in the dirty water tank. I forgot to empty it for two days once and was fully prepared for the smell when I opened it, but it actually didn’t smell bad at all. I was kind of impressed. Not really a cleaning product, but m”

“I have a round spinner brush I use to clean the windows of my all window house. My son asked to borrow it and didn’t tell me he had used it on his floor and had applied some sort of wax to his floors. I used the brush again to clean my windows and didn’t notice until I had done all seven windows in the dining room (outside of them). I have come back with indoor and outdoor windex and vinegar but can’t cut through it. It is kind of hard to see in the pics but this fog covers the entire windows. H”

“For context, I’ve always mopped and swiffered because that’s what I’ve been taught to do my whole life, never questioned it. But people online seem to be VERY hardcore about spin mop > swiffer. My question is—whenever I mop, even with the o-cedar clean/dirty separation bucket, it still feels and looks like I’m pushing dirty water around. The swiffer is obviously not as good at getting the dirt out, but I feel that it is a bit better at separating the absorbing-dirty-water from dispensing-clea”

“Cleaning is already a pain, but some cleaning tools somehow make it even more frustrating. Maybe it’s hard to clean, awkward to store, breaks all the time, or just doesn’t work as well as it should. Is there a cleaning tool or product that you find yourself getting annoyed with every time you use it? submitted by /u/linkun2003 [link] [comments]”

“The last room I used it on thespray made the smell worse but i ended up pulling up the carpet and there was definitely piss underneath the carpet still. This room is not nearly as bad, but it's just still got like the smell of a toddler. No one else can smell it but I can should I risk spraying NM I do have a SteamVac SpinScrub and a decent vacuum cleaner and a hand steamer This one room is part of a really big living room and if I was going to replace the carpet in this tiny little room it”
