Homeowners are struggling to get rid of insects, including crickets and wasps. They've tried various methods like oatmeal baths, skunk treatments, and insecticides but the problem persists.

After I saw it I checked for roach dropings and ripped apart my entire kitchen. Found nothing. I'm can't tell if it's some beetle that just got in or smth worse. (Edit) I am aware waterbugs and roaming roaches can happen. I pulled the back of my fridge out to verify as well and saw nothing. No droppings or anythin”

“I have recently moved into a freshly built rented apartment, I'm seeing these insects a lot, near kitchen concrete slabs, floor, skirtings, window rails, concrete almirah. I'm in India it's pretty hot and dry, I have been keeping the flat ventilated and removing these and cleaning, but they're not reducing. If i lift any object in kitchen slabs , I see these 5-6 below it. Size is very small , lesser than 1 mm. And they jump when I tap near it. The Balck ones are little bigger and”

I've already checked my chimney flue and it's closed. I cannot think of anywhere else they are entering from. We rarely ever see them flying. In my experience the two I've caught flying have seemed "younger" with more bright yellow coloring. The region is North Central WV. submitted by /u/Vault_t”

“Hi! Just found this dead as in first picture on the corridor of my flat. I want to confirm with you guys it's an American one. If so, is It a nymph? I live in a 12th floor, city centre, southern Spain. This year we've seen three roaches at home (streets were plagued), all dead or trapped (in one bathroom) - this is the fourth (different location). I placed bait strategically, clean regularly, no food left around, spray, etc. My question is: if they have nested anywhere near my flat, how”

“I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask this but not sure where else it’d go. the past few days I’ve seen quite a few wasps fly past my home and some of them even come in through the windows which I’m now keeping closed. I’ve always had a massive fear of them so when I said to someone I thought I heard lots of buzzing I was told I was just being paranoid and dramatic and I figured they were probably right and it was due to my fear. “I am finding and killing these wasps in my living room every day for the last week. Some are dark like this but others are paler reddish-brown color. I just stepped on one that blended with the carpet and got stung and I am DONE. I am like 99% sure they are coming in through the floor AC vent, I just opened it and found like 5 dead in there and have covered it. We also have a fireplace where I have found several wasps. I have not found a nest outside. However, the dirt by the AC has tons of .5-1”

(Sorry by the way for English, I am from France) In December/January I found a huge infestation of cloth moth, I put a kind of spray to kill them and clean all my cloth at 60°c and put them in sealed bag In July/August while organising my closet I only found one dead adult in a bag which had been teared up (I am clumsy) yesterday night, while looking for my cat I found in my bed a dead adult, along with 5 empty cocoons AND the worst: a alive one! “For about the past two weeks, we've had a notably large issue with wasps and/or hornets- what seem like several different kinds of sleek wasp/hornet-esque critters. Always Agressive and want to bite or sting. about 30 to 50 fights and subsequent carcasses a day. We live in southeast MA, in a home well over 200 years old and made almost exclusively of hard wood. Today, early this morning, we noticed our cat started getting sick, The parrot getting weird, and a pronounced buzzing in the walls.”

“The bathroom at work has quite a few of these. They fly about making whiny noises but don't actually appear to bite. It's still very annoying if you have to sit for a few minutes. If they are not actually feeding, would a CO2 strap still catch them? Anything else I can do? I have no idea how they are getting in. But we are close to a marshy area. “These bugs popped up all of a sudden on my walls yesterday. They're about 20 now. The room has no openable windows, and they seem to gravitate towards the window during the day, but not the lightbulb at night. When you try to smush them, they tend to leap away, rather than fly. I live in The Netherlands, and sometimes, after a rainy week, the walls can get a bit mouldy. I've attached a video on Dropbox for you to look at, rather than still pictures, coz they're rather small and hard”

“Since July of this year, I noticed an uptick in several wasps that started flying into my attached garage. I hang out there during the day and so does my partner. In previous years, we never had wasps or bees fly into our garage and when they did, they would fly out and it'd be the end of it. It's gotten so overwhelming that waiting for them to leave and closing the garage door never works because we at least accidentally trap one wasp, who, just like the rest of them fly in our faces, s”

About once a week since April (on average), I have come upon a wasp or hornet (I think they're wasps but they haven't always been the same variety) in my house. I’ve found more than one of these around the house/garage recently. I say crawling because they seem fairly docile and I haven’t ever seen one flying. They seem to just appear on the window or floor of my (upstairs) kitchen. They seem to be dropping from somewhere up high but I’ve scoured every square inch of my kitchen and can’t see any entry point. Is there any good way to trace where they are coming from? It looks like an Oriental cockroach nymph, but I'd appreciate an ID from someone familiar with them.
