“I recently moved into a new apartment and left these leggings on the floor for a couple months while I tried to get organized. When I picked them up they were full of large holes. The damage is way too extensive to be bugs. My friend thinks it’s rats using the wool for nesting…”

“I came back after being away for 4 days and noticed mouse poop in my bathtub. The tub was plugged and the tub walls are pretty tall (over a foot). I have no idea how a mouse could have gotten in, let alone gotten OUT. Any ideas?”

“Found in bathtub a few hours after a shower. Saw a larger American one for sure in the bathtub the other day along with one of this size but they ran down the drain when I opened the shower door. If they are American, how do I keep them from coming up the drains?”

“Hi all, I live in Belgium in a brick cavity-wall house. I keep getting mice in my attic, even though I've already plugged all the weep holes at the bottom of the walls with steel wool. Looking around the house, I noticed a gap between…”

“Moving into a new house (which is older but well maintained and supposedly recently cleaned) and checked one of the closets and found this. It looked like mouse poop at first glance, but was confused that it was only one piece. I checked the rest of the closet and the surrounding area, and couldn’t find anything else like it. submitted by /u/Big-Volume-3295 [link] [comments]”

“What it says on the tin unfortunately. I found a mouse nest in my glove box within the last month with what looks like the rainbow and grey colored insulation/sound dampener of my cars firewall? I have a 2017 Toyota Rav4 if that helps. I had a blanket laying in the passenger side floorboard for about the same time. I finally took it out to wash it with a load of clothes and when I opened the washer every single piece of clothing was covered in this grey insulation type material that is different”

“Found what looks like dirt and a single rat poop under my dish drying rack. Looks too big to be mouse poop. Unfortunately, this was the only photo I took before I freaked out and cleaned it. I just moved in a few weeks ago. Not sure how anything else could have gotten there because my dish drying rack is directly under the cabinets. submitted by /u/Diligent-Storage9987 [link] [comments]”

“I found this by my toilet today. I was wondering if it is mouse droppings or dirt. It is extremely crumbly and it was just this single bit. By the time I took the picture it was already a bit crumbled. Thank you! submitted by /u/Ridderen8 [link] [comments]”

“Hi I live in a townhouse and the upper floors of the townhouse have carpets. I have a theory (based on where I am finding the mouse poop) that the mice are coming in from the gaps between the carpet and the baseboards (indeed I have identified quite a few areas where these gaps exist). For context I live in Maryland (near washington DC) At this point in my battle against mice and wanting to seal up my house from them I have the idea that I should remove all the carpets in my townhouse, seal up t”

“I could be wrong, since I am obviously not an expert, but this looks way too big and even way too much dirt/clay moved to be the work of a mouse or even a rat? I’ve seen mice holes in our yard before and those are usually just tiny 2” diameter holes in the ground. This hole is massive, and all the dirt around it has been pushed around and aside too. Any idea what animal might have done this and which type preventative measure I should entertain? Thanks submitted by /u/tectactoe [link”

“There have definitely been mice around the house (we did set up traps) and the bed I slept in hadn’t been used for a while. Is it mouse poop? What level concerned for my health should I be? And keep in mind it wasn’t found in the trash I moved it there myself. Thanks! Edit: Worth Noting that the floors in this house are normally full of dust and tiny debris. This might be just that but idk. submitted by /u/Capital-Search-7130 [link] [comments]”

“I recently moved into a new apartment and left these leggings on the floor for a couple months while I tried to get organized. When I picked them up they were full of large holes. The damage is way too extensive to be bugs. My friend thinks it’s rats using the wool for nesting material. Only problem is I have zero evidence of rats, no droppings or anything. However the previous tenant put some mouse traps near the hot water tank. I bought some UV powder to confirm I have rodents so I can inform”
