“Hey All! I operate a self storage facility and was quoted by a company for them to put "Kill Pallets" in 8 of our vacant units for rodent trapping. They'd come 3 times a week and replace bait and remove carcasses, quoted at about 7400. However, no matter how much I look for…”

“Renter but I work in pest control, still learning. Location: Clear Lake, TX Setup Dead through-wall A/C unit sitting in a metal wall sleeve with a wood trim frame. I can't remove it without landowners permission and there's too much hassle involved. There's a gap between the unit and the trim, and debris keeps coming out of it. It piles up in the bottom corners of the frame and on the floor along the baseboard underneath. What I'm seeing : - Light-colored, flaky, coarse sawdust-l”

“Howdy! Mountains of SoCal. Termites in home. We've decided to fumigate. We got a couple quotes ranging in the 4k-4.3k cost, but then we got one quote that was nearly half. We have several WDOs with termite evidence noted. Now, it's a well reviewed company, and they do subcontract their fumigation. When I called, she said they were working with a skeleton crew, so as a courtesy, she researched my home and quoted me over the phone. It's possible that she underquoted me based on doing s”

“Pretty much as read I want to put a few dishes of quickstrike bait in my shop not connected to my house. Does it pose my family any risk as opposed to having it outdoors? Cheers. submitted by /u/lamapancakes [link] [comments]”

“Massey was over to do a twice a year inspection of the subterranean bait stations I have around my house, the tech said he found a lot of fleas in two of the bait stations on one side of my home. Is this possible? I thought fleas need a host to survive. I live in central florida, so it has been very rainy, warm, and humid lately, so I suppose a critter could've dropped some off for them to multiply. I have a dog and two indoor only cats. Thankfully they are on a preventative and I haven'”

“Looking to get some helpful expert advice from pros in this subreddit, please. We had a company come out 2 days ago, and the inspector identified the issue as yellow jackets in the wall. They had not gotten inside yet. He said they would come out to put some dust at the exterior entrance (2nd floor bedroom), that would get the yellow jackets as they were coming into the hive and spread the dust to the rest of the hive. Sounds good. Treatment scheduled 2 days later (today). Next day (yesterday) t”

“from a distance i thought it was maybe hair and dust clumped up in there but looking at it closer it looks grainy and crumby. does anyone know what this stuff is. I'm throwing these away and replacing them with new traps right now submitted by /u/Lumpy-Weird-666 [link] [comments]”

“Our condo building just hired a new termite company for initial treatment and maintenance. A guy came by this morning and sprinkled white powder in the back of the building, notably away from the foundation, in little bursts. Is this the proper technique? It looks odd to me. Can someone explain what I’m seeing? TIA! submitted by /u/madammidnight [link] [comments]”

“Yup, I had tried all sorts of traps and only thing that finally worked was the scissor traps. No digging, easy to set. These are the only thing that works for me now.”

“Hi everyone! I’m trying to identify a pest control spray I saw before. Here are the details I remember: Packaging: Aerosol pressure can with a tall, smooth white overcap (similar to BASF PT series cans) Design: White background with green text / simple green lettering Scent: It doesn't have a harsh chemical smell—it actually has a mild, light, or almost pleasant fragrance when sprayed. Function: Insect / pest control spray Does anyone happen to recognize this brand or know what exact product”

“Hello! My job has these little guys starting to accumulate around the back door. I know my coworkers will kill them, so I'd love to get to them first and either move them myself or discourage them from staying somehow. Any advice on how to remove them without harming them or myself? I was always told to put cinnamon down to stink up the area, so I put some down, but hopefully that wasn't a bad move I don't quite see a nest YET. It's around 45 degrees F today, so it's getting”

“Hey so, I’m dealing with a mild infestation at the moment. We have a plan and have done a fogger treatment three days ago. Set up traps as well and have a plan for daily vacuuming. How long would it take to get rid of the infestation? I’ve seen anywhere from two weeks to like a month. I’m so incredibly anxious bc I hate dealing with stuff like this and I just hope it’ll be gone faster than upwards of two months. submitted by /u/Free_Act_6819 [link] [comments]”

Honestly rodenticide in tamper proof bait stations is your best option

“Good call on trying the natural methods. I agree - it works for small problems, but not for massive whitefly takeovers in trees. BioAdvanced 12 Month Tree & Shrub Insect Control Concentrate might be your only options with a tree that size. Soil drenching around the base of the trunk helps the roots absorb and carry the protection up to the leaves. Good luck!”

“Seeking advice on how to combat Yellowjacket infestation. I learned late not to seal opening. The entry point, from what I can tell, is sealed with spray foam insulation. That has resulted in a ton of bees coming out on the inside (I’ve identified one spot where they seem to be coming out from). If able, I plan to spray residue in that opening, in hopes of infecting the entire colony. I saw this subs post on Yellowjackets. Seems alpine wsg is the top choice for treatment. Question now is, will s”

“Does anyone know what kind of pest/animal would eat a chunk out of a cactus?? I’ve had these in my backyard for about a year and a half and never have had an issue. Squirrels have been a problem for other plants but I don’t see a squirrel doing this. submitted by /u/Maleficent_Ebb_2488 [link] [comments]”
